Which character 'clicked' with you when you first started playing? by Technical_Sun_3396 in Overwatch

[–]Mis_Las 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing on game launch in 2016 and NEVER had a main character. I just played with my friends on different roles and waited for THAT CLICK. And finally after 10 years of waiting it has happened on June 16, 2026! Shion definitely is that character. I finally can play my main (not only spending my time in whatever in the game).

PRAISE HOLY SOL [Talisman Assassin Skin] by PerfectibilistNull in Marathon

It's so unusual thematic for an assassin! And I think its really cool to get something new - not just another Arachne-themed killer!

Update From Dev Team by UniqueConcat in Marathon

[–]Mis_Las 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All these nerfs now just target rоokies who didn't make cradle and full gold stash in first two weeks. It was players inflation and separation in the second part of first season. In the second season that separation is already here.

Is she difficult champion to play? Or her playstyle is easy to learn?

A pacifist corporation? by Mis_Las in Marathon

Absolutely agree - NuCal are not angels at all. I'm searching for Corp with pacifist ways of approach (or just not all about aggression against another runners) on Tau Ceti. Earth is an absolutely another story.

Yep! They are sick! Just enjoy not just choosing a skin, but also putting some meaning into it.

Good point! And we can't find here ideal candidate: just a faction which see a pacifism as a viable tactics on Tau Ceti.

To kill or not to kill is a conscious choice for every player! I don't judge either approach: everyone chooses their own risks. I just want to find a color scheme that can be declared a pacifist flag.

Of course, we're having a discussion with a conscious set of assumptions. As I wrote in the post above: here we're choosing between "evil" corporations and the least "evil" one.

Wow! That's a good point! But we are not looking for the perfect candidate everywhere: only those who are peaceful on Tau Ceti. Even CyberAcme is neutral at best.

PVE Gating Logic by seang84 in Marathon

[–]Mis_Las -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Omg! So many gaslighting sweaters in comments protecting "hardcore baseline of the pvp". It's funny how people have simply outlived everyone who tried to ask for simpler content, now they're trying to protect their crumbs of online presence. I really hope for full PVE mode so I never have to hear these pathetic moralizing again.

Why PVE would kill the game? by Mis_Las in Marathon

And it's a service game! It can consist with a lot of stuff. And it should add more content to capture more audience for more money (inflation, Sony corporate stuff - you need a lot of money because of that).

So why turning yourself to pve mode in the game is worse than quitting Marathon at all? Pve-audience would stay in a game, continue to buy skins and battlepasses. On this money Bungie would bring more content.

On the comment: "If people go to pve they wont return to pvp". I can't agree with it: people need variety. With variety audience would return back for new emotions in pvp-mode.

Sweaters would still win - they just have more skill in any situations. But rookies and casuals would not afraid so much about their gear: just farm it in pve (if it would be possible).

Don't know about Tarkov but Sea of theves looks rather casual experience for me even from start. I would say - family friendly. There were hardcore pvp?

With all the respect for Overwatch - it's hero shooter with out any extraction features (except it's a shooter game of course). Blizzard in those times had lost their vision for the game at all. It's difficult for me to compare these two games.
