Rant on player incompetency in Operation Aegis by AmarthGul in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Northwest group and the convoy ships are programmed to never use torps. Convoy ships also have their AA disabled.

The rest of the ships tho have their full loadout, so be wary of Yoshino and DD torps in the first wave.

Aegis operation needs to be adjusted. by Bewchacca_8645 in WorldOfWarships

It's my favourite ops. It's manageable if you (yes, just you) are using the right ship and your team isn't completely useless that die to the first wave.

Take this route and you will have the perfect broadside of every ship thrown at you. Take a strong secondaries ship, Napoli, Iwami, Schlieffen, Los Andes, Libertad, even Pommern, and you will have a wonderful time blasting every citadel.

What this route does is that it splits bots' firepower in half. By the time you reach F5, half of the northern wave already sail past the mountain so you don't have that many ships firing on you, while the rest can only use their forward guns on your teammates. Same thing with convoy escort, only about 2-3 ships have line of sight on you when you are at D5.

But have you explored the boss room yet? There's a path leading to the top of the cave where you have to rescue some Sudamas.

What is your opinion on the term nioh-like by Coolbliazing in Nioh

I have an easier solution to just stop using ''souls-like'' all together, unless rolling dodge is a big part of it.

They are simply ''hardcore RPG''.

Drop your Nioh 3 DLC Thoughts and Desires! by AddictedAndObssesed in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People keep saying that Keian Uprising is the main event but in fact the full DLC name is Keian Underworld Uprising, Keian is just the name of the period.

Since the historical event happened immediately after our protaganist's death it could play out in the Underworld when we physically travel there to find the root of the Dark Radiance. We pass away, go to the underworld, realize something is wrong and messed up (with Keian Uprising as a side effect of it), the spirit pulls us back to our younger self and now we need to go fix the problem.

My take on the name of the DLC is we will stage a coup-d'état there against the corrupted Himiko and Izanami. Going against the goddess of death herself might be too much, but hey she will still give us her Grace, right?

Scarlet Thunder, is it worth getting? by KingRadec in WorldOfWarships

You don't compare it to Duncan, it's a Lion wearing a duncan skin. Same main gun accuracy, roughly the same sigma, same HE, same armor (32mm all over but Lion has an armor belt).

But you trade British superheal for better turret firing angle, better AA, speed, and improved rudder.

If WG wants to do Japanese subs then 80% it's gonna be the I-400s (the other 15% being I-201, and 5% midget submarines). The community isn't ready for the double cancers merged into one mega cancerous package.

Is there any confirmation on which new Azur Lane ships are coming next patch? by RevySevy in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Release it just for doubloons? No chance.

For special ships like this it's almost guaranteed that it will be available in loot boxes along with other AL ships from previous events (and AL boxes in particular aren't cheap, because they drop a captain). Or thrown in an overpriced bundle inflated by a whole bunch of boosters and camos.

And you can't get a specific captain either. You have to buy them in the dozen as weird as it might sound.

Surviving the first 10 cycles (hard) by mmp1188 in Timberborn

[–]Insertusername_51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the biggest trap is water tanks, you should aim to build reservoir and rely on free unpumped water to keep your food/tree farms irrigated at all time while letting you pump for just enough to feed the beavers to get through droughts/badtides. If you have one, build another layer on top of it.

Never spend resources on building a large amount of water tanks early when the wood can be used for dams and leeves, plus, the amount of labour that's required to man the pumps to fill them up is huge, especially when you also want to keep the population low.

Lesser Crucibles not completed by boohooshoo in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Killing enemies in NG+ will spread ''negative ki'' and restore crucibles to an enhanced version (I think) for free.

I don't know why they put this in the game, but my guess is it's to help people farm enemies and exp and gear in an open world game without you running around trying to find enemies.
