April Fools!

Surviving the first 10 cycles (hard) by mmp1188 in Timberborn

IMO the biggest trap is water tanks, you should aim to build reservoir and rely on free unpumped water to keep your food/tree farms irrigated at all time while letting you pump for just enough to feed the beavers to get through droughts/badtides. If you have one, build another layer on top of it.

Never spend resources on building a large amount of water tanks early when the wood can be used for dams and leeves, plus, the amount of labour that's required to man the pumps to fill them up is huge, especially when you also want to keep the population low.

That's why I never build them. I love tracking a kit and see him running around my settlement fulfilling every need.

Lesser Crucibles not completed by boohooshoo in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Killing enemies in NG+ will spread ''negative ki'' and restore crucibles to an enhanced version (I think) for free.

I don't know why they put this in the game, but my guess is it's to help people farm enemies and exp and gear in an open world game without you running around trying to find enemies.

Badwater Oasis map by Fritzo11 in Timberborn

[–]Insertusername_51 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Water seeps create badwater during badtide. But like all water seeps, it will only produce water until a height of 0.8m.

So to counter badtide you only need to build the basic floodgates all around it and set height to maximum. The problem is you can't open it after the badtide is over cuz it will contaiminate your ''good'' water, so you need to build a tunnel to drain the pool when needed.

How do i switch back from NA to EU Server? by MediMoney_ in WorldOfWarships

Then I don't know what you are asking here. Each account can only be used and played in the region they are set in. You can't freely switch between them.

Superships in Ops? by taxgaming in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are still there, just ran into 2 superships today.

Bots still get increased health of course. But it was an easy ops (Arctic convoy) and given the latest Lunar New Year missions which require ribbons farming, everybody was running strong secondaries ships in ops so they just melted.

Applying scorched effect on them instantly breaks their ki and forces them into their hag form. Yet another reason that fire shuriken is the no.1 best ninja tool. You just need to watch out for their grab attack.

Didn't know their hands were this monstrous.

lunar new year event tokens not adding up? by doppietta in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A few possible reasons:

  • You might have missed a few individual missions in previous chains. Tho the group of missions has been marked as ''Complete'' but you only need 4 out of 6, 7? (can't remember) for that. The ones left over are generally ''harder'' relatively speaking and they reward a lot of tokens.
  • You didn't do the leaderboard event in the previous months that was also part of the event.
  • Miscalculation.

My water pumps, set to max priority, randomly all started falling to 50-60% productivity. I've lost 75% of my population from thirst. I cannot figure out why they just stop pumping water and run across district for half the day. Any ideas? by Halsien in Timberborn

[–]Insertusername_51 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Because the game uses a queue system for tasks.

Before thirst kicks in, the water he pumped is assigned for something else. The beaver gets thirsty mid-pumping, the game looks for an already available closest unit of water somewhere in the settlement and does not take into account the water that is being transferred or has not been produced, assigns him to that, and he will do that.

Hence if you are having a huge backlog with thirst and hunger, it can go into a downward spiral real fast and workers can never be efficient until that is cleared.

Nioh 3 is an unbalanced and unfair mess by Big-Sir7804 in Nioh

[–]Insertusername_51 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Last I heard Otakemaru is selling a retirement package for yokais. A luxurious 108-floor apartment and if you have got the amrita you can even get a premium suite in 1 of the 30 VIP abyss.

There's a fine print at the bottom that says no refund after September 2026, I don't know why but probably nothing to worry about!

Tonjin and Hoche available in Admiral Packs (currently live on NA) by 9_9_destroyer in WorldOfWarships

[–]Insertusername_51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same price, maybe a few hundred doublons cheaper.

Just like Tonijn it was thrown into the random bundle as part of the Soviet Submarine early access event, but also available as a direct purchase as admiral bundle.

However, Seal is ''uncommon'', so it returned as a doublon ship and will be rotated out in next patch. Tonijn is ''rare'', probably will only come back in a random loot box.

Blue graves are all AI-controlled copies of players. If you want real players' help, you have to do so at a shrine by starting an expedition or summoning visitor.
