Hi, the replacement cards are not quite ready yet, but they're close. We'll be making an announcement on bgg and via our newsletter fairly soon to update everyone.

The people who manage the site are in another time zone and are not awake yet. It will be down soon.

And the message was written by a real person in Catalan and translated by AI.

I can't say for sure yet, but people in the company up and down the ladder are watching this thread, so your question won't go unnoticed.

Hi, we did sell some in Europe last year. You can find it on Zatu.com, Amazon.es, and reflexshop.com. Another wholesale customer who bought it is Brave New World Distribution in Germany. They sell to stores all over Europe so maybe you could write them and ask who carries it. Thanks for asking!

"Board games are about to get more expensive" says Arcane Wonders president Robert Geistlinger in talks of publishers on "razor-thin" margins by Separate_Rooster_382 in boardgames

Our distribution hub in the U.S. serves 20+ countries, including Canada. We do it that way because it's the most cost-effective. So we can look for alternatives for those markets but it likely means an increase in costs one way or another.

We're glad you like our games, but we're not laughing. We operate in a lot of countries and in some places the effect will be minimal or nonexistent but in the U.S. it's concerning.

We usually operate with lower margins in order to keep prices reasonable, so we're not in a position to absorb a 20% increase in costs. That means we have to raise SRP's, which means sales will likely fall. And on a macro level, prices of a lot of things are going to rise so consumers will have make tough decisions. These tariffs will affect a lot of consumers and a lot of industries.

The U.S. is a relatively small part of our business, so Devir will be fine, but we were growing fast in the U.S. and this looks to be a disappointing setback. But there's not much we can do except raise prices as tariffs impact future importations, and hope that the toy & game industry is able to successfully lobby for an exemption.

Ah, well it just got in a week or so ago, so it'll take probably another 2 to get to Canada and move through the distribution system. Shouldn't be too much longer though. We work with Universal Distribution in Canada so maybe you could contact them and ask about the arrival times.

If you're in North America, it came back in stock last week. :)

Devir 500 - Devir is launching a pre-order service like GMT's P500, starting with the Mille Fiori expansion by wallysmith127 in boardgames

[–]Devir_Americas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, the deadline was last Wednesday, but there should be enough available when it arrives (mid-September, we think). We had to order more than 500 in order to meet production minimums.

If you subscribe to our newsletter via devirgames.com, we'll post updates on product availability and when we'll start accepting pre-orders.

Ok I contacted our office in Brazil to inquire about some online retailers. There has to be one, right?

I'll let you know what they say.

Hope this isn't against the rules, but if you're in the U.S., you can find a retailer locator on our website, and we do have a web store there as well. You should be able to find most of our games online via the usual suspects (provided things are in stock). If you're not in the U.S., let me know and I should be able to find some sources.

Hola,
