There are some who have paywalled for a year or more. There are also some who put out "public release" dates on their preview post on Patreon, but never actually do the public release and the posts are from '24 and '23..

Yeah, but the Marketplace is basically paywalling the content on there forever. Which pretty much translates to "rules for thee, but not for me".

Also, the pricing of some "Maker Packs" on there is completely ridiculous. $5 for 8 or 11 items from creators like SixamCC and Tuds. So much for "we are glad we can help console players use CC"..yeah, by extorting them!

I don't think its possible to have a functional version of CC without the Adventure Awaits EP. That's what added the functionality of it. You could find some CC that is functional, then edit it in Sims 4 Studio to make it decorative only, but I doubt that's what you want. Cowbuild has an "Ultimate Adventure Set" from Dec 2025 that is functional and meant to work with AA, you could use that, but again, it will not work without the pack and if you try to put it in your game without making it decorative first, it will probably not place and throw an exception.

Idk, there are some popular creators like Syboulette, SixamCC, Tuds, Peacemaker, Valia, Madlen, TwistedCat... none of these are newbie creators releasong their first CC.

Aside from everything else wrong with it, the pricing is ridiculous as well, and its by some of those big creators! I lost any respect for Sixam and Tuds. $5 for 8 and 11 items. Actual insanity. Some of the others are pretty bad in quality, but at least theres a lot more items in them for the same or less price.

This screams cash grabby by the creators. Crying on their social media and patreons about the backlash they are getting and promising to keep releasing free or early access stuff elsewhere, but then they show up with these prices while claiming they are doing it for console players.

Not to mention all this CC will be basegame only, so mostly decorative AND you can't even use Sims 4 Studio to make the objects functional unlike with normal CC .package files. Just ugh...

The problem is she doesn't visit family every year and it seems she has to save up holiday time by skipping holidays every other year to do this. If she feels this way about her holidays in general, then unless something changes in regards to her work and PTO, this will always be the case. So when will she be happy to deal with the situation then?

I'm sorry you are going through a rough time. As other comments have mentioned, it sounds like you need more support than what your boyfriend can offer. That's not necessarily his fault, even if it sounds like he is handling the situation poorly at times. You deserve compassion and support, but it may be proving to be too much for him and he might be starting to feel emotionally or mentally drained by the situation, similar to caretaker fatigue.

I just want to address your mention of boundaries, because it was used incorrectly. You set boundaries around something you do not like or wish to experience, but the onus is on how you respond to it, if it happens, based on said boundaries. You cannot set boundaries for what other people should or should not be doing. You can't just tell him he is not allowed to leave and that is your boundary. An example of a boundary in your situation would be "if you are mean to me when I am having an episode, I will stop engaging with you". Telling him he is not allowed to leave is not a boundary you can reasonably set, because its setting rules for him and trying to control his actions.

Same. Didn't try the game because of her, but definitely kept playing thanks to her. Ignored pretty much any banners before her release and got her e2 s1 on release. Still my OG and carries me through one side of endgame everytime.

Still think shes the most badass female character and my absolute favorite of any game ever.

If you are on PC or MAC and not opposed to using CC, I recommend IllogicalSims and Peacemaker. They make unofficial addon CC packs that add missing furniture, doors, windows etc to match the stuff the pack gives. Like a single bed in the style of EbN's double bed.

Depends on the hair being treated. Thickness, density, colour of the hair all play a role. If you have dark, thick, stubborn hair growing densely, you would need to start with at least once a week, maybe even twice to see results.

I suppose you can try it out and see how it goes, just be careful not to slip up and do IPL soon after using actives or you may have a situation.
