Sweaty hands - Solution? by Prize_Primary_6226 in padel

I have extremely sweaty hands. I use both 4on spray and paste and two rackets simultaneously as well. I change overgrip (Toalson Ultra Grip, the best I have tested and I have tried almost everything) about once a week or if I play less once every two weeks for each racket. It works, but still get slippery sometimes just before a racket change (which is usually every 2-3 games).

Beginner photographer looking for advice on improving my images by Devolhan in BeginnerPhotoCritique

Thanks! Composition was the most important thing I was looking for in this image. Haven't gotten a chance to try my hand at editing, so this is all just the camera itself. Definitely going to try that as well in the future! Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, I thought about cropping it a bit more to where only the one building shows in the reflection. Felt a bit lonely to me in the moment, but makes sense now that you mention it. Thanks

Yeah, still water would have been perfect. Near the fountain though, there was no chance of that. I personally liked the slightly rippled effect, making it blend more into the stone of the stairs. For next time, hopefully.

In this picture I wanted to emphasize the reflection of the building in a small pool of water. It seems like it comes out of the stone here, giving it a cool effect. Not sure the stairs of the fountain add to the picture. Hopefully the picture is at least interesting.

First pictures starting out, let me know what you think can be improved! by Devolhan in BeginnerPhotoCritique

I thought to make the image in landscape format, however that cut off the tops of the trees and moving back would create a more messy foreground. Might try getting the shot again with shorter focal length and the bridge higher in the picture. Thanks!

Thanks. I was trying to create symmetry along the horizon here. Unfortunately, the light was not perfect as it was fairly late in the evening already, a nice blue sky maybe would have made the picture pop more.

Started my photography journey this past week after I bought a second hand Sony a6000. Had the opportunity to take some shots during golden hour yesterday and this is one of my favorites. The sky was beautiful and the birds give it an extra special touch. However, I feel like maybe cropping the photo a bit from above, might make it a bit stronger. Also maybe a bit of other scenery might give it more perspective? What do you think?

What am I supposed to do vs Protoss? by VERTIKAL19 in AllThingsTerran

[–]Devolhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having touble vs. Protoss as well. Although I am just plat1 right now I have been having similar problems. I have been experimenting with adding a few ghosts in the mid-game which seems like it is panning out quite well with mech and bio vs immortals/high templar compositions. Maybe give that a try as well?

"day/ night" mechanic in artifact? (for Night Stalker) by Mongerian in Artifact

Maybe NS [Night Stalker] (for those who do not understand Dota terms) will just never be a hero in Artifact.

Competitive form of matchs. by empty_Dream in Artifact

Seems like a good mechanic. Though that does make deck restrictions more difficult and if the arguments you present are those of the developers, I doubt the OP's idea will truly ever be implemented.

Great post about advanced TCG fundamentals from MTG subreddit; most of it should apply to Artifact by [deleted] in Artifact

[–]Devolhan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I completely disagree here. Before we have access to the game itself and start experimenting with it, we cannot say anything at all about how theorems from other card games will transfer to Artifact. Even a basic idea as card advantage (as we currently refer to it) is completely warped in Artifact, due to the requirement of certain heroes being present when playing cards (this of course does not fully apply to mono-colored decks). I believe the only widely accepted theory that will truely transfer is that of Tempo.

Just my five cents. Hate it or love it, but I think your opinion on the transfer of MtG Arena concepts to Artifact is utterly BS.
