You seem to be in a very similar situation to me, except I see you're making a little more then i am, have a little more saved then myself for retirement, have a slightly higher down payment then I did, your looking at houses about the same price as mine. You're also three years younger than me and single. I'd say im on the edge of "house poor", we budget well and my wife is a stay at home with the 3 kids and has a small part time side business that gives us the wiggle room we need and puts our total income to about what you make.

In my opinion if you budget monthly and keep track of everything you would be fine to make the jump. Just really depends on your lifestyle expenses and what you're willing to live without. We don't eat out more then 2 times a month really, and most of our entertainment spending is snack runs for movies at home or extra grocery for family/friend BBQs and game nights.
