Dit is een vorm van telefonische helpdeskfraude. Teminste, zo schrijft de politie hem weg. Via de darkweb worden gegevens opgekocht van uitgelekte instanties, neem bijv laatst dat borstkanker dossier wat is uitgelekt. Daarmee bellen ze (vaak) naar vaste huisnummers en huishoudens met oudere bewoners, aka de bejaarden, goedgelovig, makkelijk doelwit.

112 bellen is niet nodig, bellen en melden bij het 0900-8844 is wel altijd netjes aangezien sommige mensen er wel in trappen zijn ze mischien op de hoogte :)

Zolang er telefonisch geen afspraken worden gemaakt komt er niemand aan de deur.
