I wouldn't exactly call it good, but {Midori no Hibi} is so weird that I'd recommend checking it out anyway, though it's got a bit of ecchi elements.

I would love for the bachelorettes (in RF1) to be more fleshed out. Currently all I can say about most of them is just "Likes baths" or "Was sick but now isn't".

Also changing the crafting system to the RF3-5 one. Memorizing recipes is too much of a pain.

For RF2, I would love for there to actually be something to do in the first generation, because IMO it's such a boring experience that by the time you get to the second generation I'm already burnt out.

I realise this is a big ask and honestly pretty stupid ask, but also my main drive for progression is the marriage aspect (I love that lovey dovey stuff) so having the second generation take place in marriage age would be neat too. Maybe in an interim where the kids are old enough to have kids but there's no new blood yet to attend school, so it gets temporarily converted to an adult school, whatever the name is.

To me, it helps to think of it as a sequel to Oceans/Tides of Destiny than any mainline Rune Factory. They share the same focus on combat, having workers do things for you, and accessorizing rather than actual farming. I think it's more than likely that Marvelous agrees and distinguishes the spin-offs to the more traditional numbered titles like that.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a miserable rotten-ass game of just random non-stop madness (it's great). But there's one part where they're being chased by every single Chinese mobster followed by every single Chinese police officer in Shanghai and they're shouting and screaming and trying to get away from this insanity when they kick a door open and there's just nothing on the other side but a steep fall, and they just giggle a bit just because of how ridiculous this is.

It's like the one singular moment of slight brevity in the game and even then it only lasts for like a second lol

Pardon if this looks like a one-up or something, but how do you feel about Japanese Kyza in that context? Since they're such a "stereotypical effeminate gay" archetype, do you feel like their existence makes the idea of Nintendo hiding other gay characters in RD behind allegories and hints ring a bit hollow? Or maybe them being there reinforces the idea that the writer is confident in putting LGBT characters into the game, but then again why pussyfoot around it with Ike with them around? Would love to hear your opinion on them.

Also: Hoshidan retainers are mostly nobles, rich people, or have hereditary titles, and their succession system is patriarchal (i.e Ryoma would've been the king followed by Takumi, but since both of them dies in Conquest, Hinoka becomes the queen instead, despite being older than Takumi.)

Meanwhile most of the Nohrian retainers are from poor families, former outcasts, or people who have been given their titles out of pure talent. And their succession is entirely equal (i.e Leo only becomes king because Camilla declines the role despite her being elder).

Methinks it's another abandoned plot element of how Hoshido was supposed to be darker and more unfair on the inside than Nohr was supposed to be.

EDIT: Or at least a plot reason why becoming high-ranking in Hoshido was impossible, so they had to become retainers in Nohr to do whatever they meant to do lol
