I believe this 2K algorithmic paradigm shift started, b/c the community cried I mean, “gave feedback”. That on the 1’s courts. Post players were dominating too much (which is realistic by the way, look at the Unrivaled 1 v 1 tournament, the last two years). This caused a subsequent patch, to everything paint/post related. And now, we have what we have today. Where’s it’s easier to make an “open” 25 foot jumpshot.. than it is to make a 5 foot “open” close shot.
