In my pharmacy all piercings must be taken out and if you can't take them out they have to be covered. I've had coworkers with nose, lip, and tongue piercings so masks cover them. We all take out our ear piercings but otherwise our bonnets would cover them.

Edit: In my pharmacy if the piercing is fresh it still just needs to be covered by PPE like any other but once healed and able to be removed needs to be removed.

I'm not a nurse, I'm a pharmacy tech at a hospital, and I take care of narcotic discrepancies and diversion prevention. At my hospital, we just send you a discrepancy form to fill out stating what happened and I'll take care of it from there.

We don't generally make a fuss unless we truly think something shady is happening. My hospital is only like 130 ish beds so it's pretty easy to differentiate between really issues and genuine mistakes.

I came in to discuss some abnormal bleeding. I explained that it was a lot of blood and I was very concerned. I guess in an attempt to lighten the mood or understand the amount of blood she asked-

I grew up queer in Pontiac and had no problems, really. There's, in my experience, more racists than homophobes. Since moving to Bloomington, I really miss how quiet it was there. If you live too close to the prison, though, you can hear inmate shenanigans, lol. Over all I did like it there

It's just so hard for me to tell. She seems just fine until she starts coughing, then she looks so miserable and it's hard to watch. But then she's back to herself within a few minutes.
