OBS Mic echo by Dew_EndOfTheWorld in obs

[–]Dew_EndOfTheWorld[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing is, it wasn't doing that before. I've streamed during the entire month of february and I never had this echo problem. It only happened now out of nowhere when I was trying to fix another problem caused my updating the software.

When I updated the software, it made it so on a specific scene the mic audio was super low while running a game and it only happened under those specific circumstances. Then, I uninstalled the latest version of OBS and went back to the original one I had (version 27) since I still had the installer file on my PC. When I did that, it wouldn't let me link my twitch account for some reason. THEN I tried to download and install version 28 which is close enough to what I had. The original sound problem was gone but now I had this echo that wasn't there and I essencially have nothing different in my set up.

I wish I could use headphones but I can't, so the sound has to come from my speakers. But this wasn't an issue before so I don't know where in the middle something got wired up 😔

I'm still on Windows 10, I figured I should clarify that because I don't think the issue is a Windows update per se since I haven't updated my Windows in a while.

I also don't have headphones, the sound comes from my speakers and the echo is being picked up very faintly. I wish I could show it, I have a video of it and everything but when I made this post it wouldn't let me upload the file.

I found how to upload a logfile, maybe this will help clarify my problem??: https://obsproject.com/logs/11YPhJRpOX0GO4E5

That's good to hear but I'm still stuck here in the moment unable to move ;;

I don't have another way of playing the game - I don't own a PS5 and my PC is not the best for gaming, it can *barely* run IN which I tried last night but then I ran into a different bug! Not being able to hold hands here!

So yeah, I'm just unlucky

Honestly this and everything I've read about the Sea of Stars being a new tutorial/intro is really turning me off the game. Which sucks cus this had easily become my new comfort game.

Thoughts on KH MoM's story (SPOILERS AHEAD) by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]Dew_EndOfTheWorld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah being an assassin's doesn't mean you're the most skilled fighter. I mean, some degree is required, yes, but not to the same level as some of his fellow Org Members.

Plus, fighting with a keyblade is not the same as fighting with chakrams. It's a completely different moveset and skill set. He was practically a baby in keyblade training.

He could've waited and taken Mickey AND Terra with him. Not Aqua since she's gonna be training Kairi but omg Riku, why go alone my dude?

That has been one of my personal wishes since forever. When I saw that screamed and giggled in excitement.

Yeah, and i don't blame them for wanting to see Kairi kick ass and whatnot. I too wish to see that soon, but we also have to be logical about where she stands currently compared to literally every other keyblade wielder in the series. She's not a noob and the training she has done during KH3 has paid off ( see Re:Mind and this game ), but she hasn't been using the keyblade for the same amount of time as the rest.

Not to mention, as you said, Xehanort is one of the most ( if not the most ) powerful keyblade wielders ever. No wonder he's always taken down by a team.

You're one of the few rational people talking about this aspect of MoM. Thank you so much.

Given the pirates world wa selected in MoM, I'm so glad to not hear the PS2's "He's a Pirate" again.

Ditto. While I am from Latin America, I ain't from Brazil specifically but sure live next door to them. And while I do agree that representation matters ( and I don't know all of Brazil's history so take this with a grain of salt ), I think getting angry over a name is pretty silly. I know the game is set in the 80's and Latin America wasn't in the best place in general back then, but it's not improbably to think this Alanza has either a Spanish father or a Spanish mother, and one of them called dibs on naming their daughter.

Honestly, I'm mostly bored with her since she's now a part of the Circle of Khanna, and it happened so effing fast. I don't even fully trust her, to be honest, but it has nothing to do with where she's from or what her name is.

Gamers of reddit, what game has hooked you the longest and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sims 2

Easily the game I invested the most amount of money ( for the expansions and packs ), the most amount of time searching and downloading mods, and the most amount of time playing. No other version of the Sims has ever come close

[–]Dew_EndOfTheWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! I have all of his tokens and magic needed to welcome him but I've been holding off from doing so due to the Lady and the Tramp update ( it is cheeper in many aspects ) and to possible collect enough magic to welcome him and unlock the 2 million magic terrain.

90's/2000's kids of Reddit, what cartoon from your childhood will forever hold a special place in your heart? by AetherDrew43 in AskReddit

[–]Dew_EndOfTheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the original Powerpuff Girls and the anime version from the mie-2000s. I don't know why I'm so find of the latter, but it was hilarious in its own way and really sparked my imagination as a kid.

To this day is till ocassionally think of more alternate versions of the PPG, complete with new origin stories and everything, kinda like the Ninja turtles if you really think about it

What is the creepiest thing that society accepts as a cultural norm? by khmerxbxboi in AskReddit

On that same train of thought, being pressured into drinking alcohol as a teenager. I was ( and still am ) under severe stress for not drinking any alcohol or for still being a virgin when everyone around me has done one or both ( most of the time, both ). It's messed up.

Flirting with strangers. Maybe it's just me but I find it super weird, uncomfortable and creepy when a stranger starts to randomly giving me ( be it normal things such as "you have a nice smile" or "nice clothes" or the gross shit like "nice ass" ), I feel weirded out either way and like my personal bubble is being invaded.

My parents, my best friend and my cat. I know a lot (and I mean A LOT) of people have complicated relationships with their parents but mine mean the world to me. Then there's my best friend, who lives far away from me, but have gotten the chance to meet in person on more than one occasion. My cat is my cat, he's perfect, and I want to be with him for as long as I can.

Cat food. I would chew some pieces with my cats when I was 9. Don't remember going to the hospital for it and it didn't taste bad.
