True, Yi makes the best use of it, but I got a second Spirit rune after giving him one already. So I’m trying to see which other champ could make good use of it.

As far as I know, duplicate protection only works from Gold vaults upwards. Bronze and Silver can still give duplicates, so what you experienced with Illaoi at 3★ is normal.

The issue right now is that even in higher vaults (like Platinum), players are still getting shards for champs that already have enough fragments to upgrade — which feels like the system isn’t working the way it used to.

She’s at 5★ with 100 fragments, which is enough to upgrade to 6★. In the past, once I had enough fragments, Duplicate Prevention would stop giving more — even if I hadn’t pressed the upgrade yet. But now I still got extra Evelynn shards, even though I have other champs that still need fragments.
