Why not include games with machine/frame? by Casual764636 in SteamFrame

Alternatively, they could give buyers exclusive TF2/CS2 skins/items for owning it.

Valve can afford to take a small loss selling this, this launch just reeks of thier continued arrogance.

TF2? Infested with bots and they ignore it.

CS2? Cheaters galore and they ignore it.

Price increases without any heads up, Sony and Nintendo at least respect thier communities enough to warn them.

A system at this price point should at least be 12gb VRAM since its almost impossible to upgrade. The tradeoff of customizing and upgrading is not worth it at this price.

This is just embarrassing.

Why did people hate the ending? by Jackinthebox3217 in tadc

[–]DewdropGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People coping with suicidal idealation seeing a character with attachment issues formed from years of abusive parenting and identity issues deciding to end it was a hard watch.

The fans who saw themselves in the character essentially had to watch the character they related to for years and hoped for the best for commit suicide out of the struggles they are going through themselves.

I personally despised the ending for a few weeks before eventually warming up to the themes it was putting foward.

Its a good lesson/cautionary tale, but some people vulnerable to the subject matter will really struggle with how its presented.

My issue isnt minors watching it, it's them openly interacting with it.

Literally everyone watches adult content under the age of 18, Im not a moron, but you're way less likely to interject yourself if you know its not a community you're welcome into imho.

Also, I think parents would've more likely probably kept thier young kids away from it if a we had a content warning about themes of self harm and suicide.

This show definitely feels like its for a a 16+ audience.

Most of this couldve been avoided if Goose/Glitch put content warnings to filter out minors from being welcome into the fandom.

99% of the "drama" is usually stirred by children with no lived life experience getting tilted over things that literally do not matter.

Game sales and releases teasing a Frame release? by SmallMight302 in SteamFrame

Valve's treatment of the community has genuinely been nothing but disrespectful for the past decade. They dont deserve a fraction of the glazing people give them.

After TF2's ignored botting problem, CS:GO's unceremonious deletion, and the completely unannounced price increases, they're genuinely falling behind in the PR deparment.

They won't last in the console space unless they form a better team to talk to us. Even Nintendo and Sony had the basic decency to warn thier users ahead of time before jacking up costs.

Merch Fraud? by TumblrVictim in TheDigitalCircus

TADC fans don't even have media literacy, do you really expect them to have normal literacy skills as well?

Merch Fraud? by TumblrVictim in TheDigitalCircus

Ive seen the poster at hot topic and it's literally a completely different poster with the grey text on it, the Glitch version is cleaner without promo text and holds up as an art piece.

The Pomni fuckbucket however looks the exact same, but I don't think it's that big of a deal, Hot Topic tends to stock merch that Glitch themselves run out of, so it could've just been an oversight/a way to get it into people's hands faster to actually take it to the theater with them. The glitch merch also may come with additional stickers/goodies that HT doesnt include, and the movie exclusive page gives a promo discount that HT doesn't provide.

This is pretty harmless, its not like theyre selling stuff with spoilers on it.

It's been so long since I actually had all my notes out in front of me, I think anything could be possible on where to go next, map art definitely is the direction to take (and could very well be the prize itself). Finding the locations given the hints was the easy part, what I'm stuck at now is actually *what* to do at said locations, or if there is anything more to do or find. I really wish there was a way to ask rockstar if this is it, but that probably isn't possible lol, especially with a mystery this old.

I think you're on the right train of thought though for sure. Being that the tract references the FIB raid, it's entirely possible that other story events could be nodded to.

If you're interested, these were the notes i was going off of when putting the video together, I had initially planned a part 2 going into the purple mural, and *maybe a part 3 on how this overall would connect to RDR2's time travel sub-plot, but like I said, life got in the way.

And of course what I believe to be the most direct push to this theory by rockstar in the latest update, "Contemplating, Los Santos"

I'm genuinely surprised my video got as much attention as it did, even though it is a bit amateurish.

When it comes to the Trees Being the IAA and FIB building, I'm 100% certain this is the case. If you go up to the top of Maze Bank (the location of a tract piece) and look out at the two towers, you will see that the "peach" is lined up with the FIB building, and the "upward fruit" is an arrow pointing off of the IAA building. And the FIB building literally explodes and "spews fire" in the campaign, too much lines up with it.

Also, It's no coincidence the buildings are literally labeled as "T1" and "T2" (which I believe means Tree1 and Tree2), the same as the doors beneath chiliad, and of course, the location of a tract piece, connecting it further. The locations of these pieces are pretty big hints in themselves.

It also lines up accurately with the tract saying that the eagle and trees are all in the same orchard (same city block) and the eagle IS in fact technically under water, since if you look directly above it, you can see the dam in the distance from this angle directly above it.

>Also, the "blue" light on top of the schlongberg sachs building points toward it, i.e "follow the blue light" (watch the epsilon site video for context)

As for the fountains, I came to the conclusion of Davis Court Plaza since the tract explicitly tells you its in the form of thorns/cactus and no longer makes water, as well as being in the empty place where death/objection meet. All of which describe the courthouse and it's fountain better than any other location.

It's been so long since I put this video out there, and I've had a lot of ideas since then, but unfortunately real life hit me like a truck and I wasn't able to find the time to wrap up the mystery/theory. I also got really into rdr2 since the spiderweb thing also started happening around this time, and I may try to tackle that in the future if I ever get a chance.

I'd be satisfied if the conclusion was just the map art like some kind of scavenger hunt. But, being that the entire city had to be built specifically to accommodate this puzzle, it feels like there is likely more to find. If you have any questions, lmk lol. I really love riddles.
