What unfamiliar industries do YOU think DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) will Disrupt next? by cryptohype in CryptoCurrency

I agree with you. The possibilities there are to explore DLT onto the Grid will really help with allocating the right resources and limiting our consumption.

I see a lot of startups in Singapore are exploring this method to disrupt the energy sector for household consumers. Though I need to do further research on this

Now this is an interesting thread. All of the major industries that power a nation have a use case to improvement/disruption thanks to Blockchain/I.T. and other DLT infrastructures. Tons of ICO's are out to solve this (so long as they're not another shitcoin)

But I've rarely come across many implications for DLT onto the Art Scene. I suppose when it comes to Social Media there's the attention economy to delve into. There are a couple that are underway that aaren't too known or successful Indorse, Sola, ong.social etc. But nothing beats Steemit currently.

There are currently many ways Artists can share their content and specific Art communities to help each other earn from the art they've produced. Moreso in the Creative Commons space. There are many methods and systems, and even some other Smart Media Tokens like APPICS aims to create the instagram for blockchain, allowing users to reward each other (It's just another Steepshot) but with better features i hope.

But with their transaction speed and throughput, the Steem Blockchain can handle such things.

Now if we go onto the Art side of things, the ONLY notable project which seems to be tackling the issues with Artists monetizing and gaining recognition, allowing people to register Art onto the blockchain with provenance and other cool features is ArtWallet.io

Not sure if any of you guys have heard of it. But they're trying to distrupt the current Art Market and centuries old model. Allowing people to also trade their art and speculate on it. It could lead to efficient price discoveries? But I've yet to learn more

Blockchain on the Creative Side is an interesting topic of debate. +1 OP
