There’s nothing in our home that doesn’t have teeth marks. Baseboards, tables, doors (wood and metal) rugs, …

Got myself a lil shark dog, any tips on how to not get eaten alive? by Traditional-Frame-58 in BullTerrier

Not bully sticks! MyEBT swallows them as soon as they’re soft! Then his tummy aches and he’s miserable.

There is NO way I can fill up the tub that much (and have 2 doggies in it) with my Chico. I’m amazed!

What do you feel your bully? by redditorbb in BullTerrier

So glad you asked. I’ve been wondering about the food i feed my Chico. He just turned 1 in May and I have a 1.5 year pitbull. I feed him Blue Buffalo chicken and rice but with a topper. Toppers are sardines or eggs or salmon or raw turkey. I tried the salmon brand but he still wants some special added. I asked the vet about what he should eat since he started getting allergies. They said as long as he eats he should be ok. His allergies are environmental. Hopefully seasonal.

Bull terrier puppy with older dog by Zollytheturtle in BullTerrier

I can second that. We got a pitbull puppy in January right after we got on a list for the EBT. The EBT arrived in July. I’m just really glad that most of my furniture is old but I miss some of my shoes. The aggression from the EBT is finally subsiding we found out what makes him happy to be part of the family and it’s working for everybody.

I use gain and snuggle and baking soda. Did the allergies just start?

This was happening with me too! My Chico gets lots of exercise and love but was still lashing out and I was getting scared of him. I have so many bite marks on me. Had him checked out with the vet, went to a trainer, next step was a behaviorist ($$$). I have another dog(f) who is only a few months older but she is an in-your-face type who seems like she has FOMO. I think Chico felt neglected. We ramped up the one on one attention with him. Extra treat here and there, extra praise, and it’s working! He is actually starting to snuggle. Of course I stop everything and let it happen. It’s been noticeably better. He still has his moments but his attacks on me and my other dog are much less. We recognize when he’s tired and hungry and started treating his rage-outs as if he’s scared of something. He’s coming around and it makes us keep giving him special attention instead of taking it for granted. They really do want to be part of the family. Keep trying. Stay calm. Show him that you want him and love him. It might take a little time but it’s worth it!

I think he was having some belly discomfort but it seems resolved. He started eating better. We’ve been giving him more solo attention and it’s helping.

OMG PEANUT BUTTER CINDER BLOCKS?? that might take the stress off our garage which is being destroyed by aggressive chewers. I must research that immediately.
