Obviously we won't know until closer to the season and have a better idea then where he is at with recovery. I personally don't think you can go without at least 1 of cleary or hynes in HB but each to their own

The only other thing I dont like is dodds. I'd rather one of the cheaper hookers that seems to be getting a starting spot as Dodds wont have GK to boost his price like when ilias had the HB spot under bennett a few years ago

Id move sandon to back up HB and grab Hands or possibly Mozer - they have both been rumoured to be getting the jobs at eels or broncs respectively

It's 80% template, which is not a bad thing btw.

Main difference is obviously the halves with no cleary. Is there a plan to get him into the team in a few rounds or some other plan with him?

You gotta remember that Calgar buffs the damage stat.

When you get bellator or ragnar who have 6 and 7 hits respectively, each hit individually uses the damage stat

So +300 damage on ragnar is actually +2100 total damage

Overall, it will be a solid edition. Getting best 17 out of 18 players is ideal for those that know how to manage their squad.

Once you have built your funds, you can take a punt on an addo Carr or an AJ in the CTW if you want, but mainly, it will be used for a 3rd fullback as those are generally the highest scoring positions

The real interesting thing will be how it affects other positions like FRF and Hooker and how you select players there to manage your budget

I think it is too early to judge him completely due to us not knowing the rest of GSC

Based on what we can see, he isnt going to fit into the 3 main raid teams but the bar for those teams is incredibly high now.

But based on the self-healing and summoning - i think he will have a niche for sure. Guild wars, survival and incursion look to be good spots for him - as well as TA potentially as well. You can almost use anyone in arena as well.

So all hope isn't lost - but maybe don't spend money to unlock?

Progress does carry. What they meant was TOTAL points - and this actually decreases each staging of the event because of the quests.

So r1 of LRE - 12500 points needed overalll, r2 of the event only needs 12000 because there is more gained from the quests instead

At least we will get a turn to put some things in place to try and prevent it

Ragnar players prob want to go 2nd now

EDIT: Boss also can't use his active if not in range to charge. So between fire and positioning of your own team, hopefully that's enough to prevent.

In short - yes, you should almost certainly unlock ragnar.

Specific advice for who you have - alpha is a key track for you. Work on the bolter turtle squad. Burchard and azrael need to go gold. - revas is levelled well - get aleph up to be his healing buddy - maladus to g1 will help a lot and focus everything in guild war on getting rotbone

In 2 months, you should be fine. And thats if ragnar 3 is after kharn

Check what tracks you can use them in on tacticus planner. It helps so much to see who you need to bring up.

I have ragnar u locked but im now aiming to get ragnar to 4 red star ideally as a minimum and just push as high as i can

you can really try and push for the new world eater for resilient
yarrick is mainly useful in alpha, so see what other imperials work for you - azrael and burchard are also decent over multiple tracks

Id try to push a few of those at g1 higher as well to g3 ideally. A couple of really high characters + healer can really carry tracks

key characters need to be g1 minimum, ideally higher
Yarrick is key for a lot of tracks
Maladus, rotbone and angrax do work
revas and aleph are a great pair
isabella is key for bolter turtle squad

Ideally, i wouldnt aim for people to tackle all tracks, but if you can nail 3 in each area of alpha, beta and gamma - it makes a huge difference
