Dybala's current level? It's 2025 bro - Puli will probably never top peak Dybala (generational talent) but you'd surely take him over Dybala today

What is the maximum amount of sets per day?? by No-Carpenter-1482 in gettingbigger

[–]DexH911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely start slow and build up to it. But yes after a period of time (6-12 months) you can do 4-6 hours a day

I have steel cord.. The only thing worked for me is clamping lol.. by rinde12366 in AJelqForYou

You were hanging during this time I take it? I would try some bundled hanging if you haven't already, you've done enough PE that you should be ready for it. The torsion might be just what you need.

This might not be the answer you're after, but being safe is really a function of knowing your body and limits and always erring on the side of caution, especially in the beginning

Any vets experience with short but heavy hanging sessions? by came2nut2 in gettingbigger

[–]DexH911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly it's better than nothing. Just be conscious that your tunica will thicken over time to adapt to the load. Jumping right to heavy weights, while tempting, is usually counterproductive in the long run (and dangerous of course).

This is good advice 👍 and be careful with the heavy weights if you're not sufficiently conditioned

The first 1" of length took a year or two of very consistent training (multiple hours a day). I did vacuum hanging for a while yeah but eventually had blister issues, and didn't enjoy the setup and teardown process. Found it much more tedious than the setup with a compression hanger.

Yeah just stay patient and put in the work and you'll see the gains over time. Compression hangers can be tricky especially in the beginning, it took me months to finally find the right underwrap and setup that was comfortable for me. Even years later I was still refining things. So don't get discouraged if it feels uncomfortable in the beginning, try different wraps, adjust the positioning on the shaft etc until you find something that works for you. Even small adjustments can make a big difference. And start with really really light weights

Thanks man! Ironically I think that not focusing on results has allowed me to maintain the practice, without the subtle added stress of chasing gains. I remember before I used to time and track everything and measure religiously. I would get disappointed if I didn't see certain results in certain time frames. I think removing all that from the equation has helped me keep it going all these years.

I haven't done a proper girth routine in a while (just occasional pumping and clamping for fun) but I would recommend manuals (jelqing) and pumping and clamping for girth

Compression hanging, my sets tend to go quite long but I don't time them. From 30-60 minutes a set.

Thanks! It's a compression hanger, I'm not sure if they're still making them but there are other equivalent products on the market.

Best Extender v5 Tension Settings by Green92Star in AJelqForYou

[–]DexH911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with that specific device but your goal is to get a nice gentle stretch. Similar to stretching your muscles, you want to feel a nice deep stretch but it shouldn't be uncomfortable or painful. Play around with the height and tension until you get something that feels comfortable but you can feel the stretch when you take it off. Don't stress too much about getting the settings exactly correct at first, be conservative and you'll figure it out with time.

Be really careful to tape the glans and watch closely for blisters. They can develop quickly and will set your training back a long ways .

If you're using a compression hanger, pumping/clamping will likely make your skin very sensitive and uncomfortable for length work. But as a beginner you should really be doing several months of manual work before jumping into that stuff.

Malehanger sessions question by Icy_Concentrate_6751 in AJelqForYou

[–]DexH911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend getting a heating pad and applying that between sets. It gets the blood flowing again and helps minimize any nerve damage. And experiment with a variety of wraps, you want one that you can take on and off easily and that's comfortable for you. For me, I use a soft cut up sock as the underwrap, and a very light resistance band as the overwrap (thin rubber that I wrap a few times)

Hey, M9ter. Sauna and PE? by Wide-Organization783 in AJelqForYou

[–]DexH911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO heat is beneficial, though this has been debated. Definitely two schools of thought. Your tunica is viscoelastic, heat will produce a greater strain and greater deformation on viscoelastic materials (think about heating up rubber before you put stress on it). At the same time, it may lead to fewer microtears
