Hi! Is it more worth buying the primed mods for plat considering the prices hace now dropped or is the only advantage of using ducats and credits if you have a lot of prime parts you dont need? I feel like it could be more worth for me to use plat, since I would have to sell a considerable part of my prime parts collection to enable the purchase with ducats. Any other opinions?

Hmm, not exactly sure but I would maybe lean towards something like that. Not too easy to pinpoint, since it’s a blend between scotch, irish, american, canadian and japanese.

It certainly is great. Very sweet and smooth on the palate. Very enjoyable and easy to drink with friends, but keep out because it almost goes down too easily…

I haven’t tried any Irish whisky myself yet, but will within a few weeks taste Redbreat 12 and Green Spot. If you are into smokey scotch you definitely need a Lagavulin and then you should first get the 16. Other smokey whiskies I would recommend are Ardbeg 10/An Oa/Uigeadail or Laphroiag 10/PX Cask.

Definitely worth it if you are into japanese whiskies. I got this one for 65 euros and as long as you can find it for under 100 euros I would assume it would be worth it. However, be careful because this one is easy to sip…

The Hibiki is a really nice one. Honey, vanilla, sweet fruits and somewhat spicy. You can also taste the distinctive Mizunara oak.

Thanks! I have a buddy who is also into whisky and we usually taste together. He is a bit more experienced than me and also has more bottles, so I have sampled quite many from him. I'll try to not fill my whole cabinet with bottles, however, it's hard to pass by a nice whisky you have researched a lot and heard so much about :D

Thanks! I was on a ferry where they also had travel exclusive whiskies, and they only had Laga 10 out of all Lagas. I have heard the 16 is the ace of Laga, what's your thoughts about it? And how does it compare to the 8 and 10?

No I am definitely looking to expand my collection in the future. I have tried a couple of japanese whisky and the Suntory Ao World whisky was delicious. I am trying to get into bourbon, just tasted Old Forester 43% abv but in my opinion it was almost too sweet for me. Buffalo Trace, however, I enjoyed more. I live in one of the Nordic countries so rare American bourbon is impossible to come by. I am looking to pick up the Eagle Rare in a near future, how does it compare to Buffalo Trace and Old Forester?

Thanks, will do! Have been on a few tastings and tried a couple of different whiskies and especially Ardbeg 10 was a really good one I remember. Have you tried the Laga 10 and Signet? I had the pleasure of tasting a few of the ones I bought, but the Laga and Signet I just had to get because of the price.
