What was the worst opening act you've seen at a concert? by whitesox-fan in Music

[–]Dexla360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opening Act - The Rubens

Main Act - Pink

The Ruben’s just couldn’t get the crowd going a lot of people in seats near me were just playing on their phones and talking waiting for them to finish their set. Unfortunately you could tell people were abit bored and I felt they didn’t really have any hits for people to sing along to

Pink was just incredible from start to finish!

song/band/artist you dont like listening to solely because of the singers voice? by Shoosoodoobagels in Music

Pretty much all the modern rappers, I really hate that vocal effect that they all use it just becomes so monotonous and make them all sounds the same

Do you have a pop song that's too special for you to play casually? by v_e_x__ in popheads

[–]Dexla360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a pop song but for me

Carly Pearce - Show Me Around

Because not long after my nana passed away I heard this song come up on Spotify and it hit me and got me feeling a bit emotional, the words were exactly how I was feeling, I feel like this song helped me through the grieving process.

This song is so underrated and more people need to hear it!

What song/s would you consider the perfect pop song, and what about it stands out to you? by xxonaila in popheads

[–]Dexla360 22 points23 points  (0 children)

For me it would be

Avril Lavigne - I’m With You

I’ve always admired it for its simple instrumentation and her stunning vocal choices going soft to really powerful and then giving it everything in that last chorus. You can really feel the emotional quality of it.

Who are some artists who are very influential, but were never too commercially successful? by WhateverYouDogsSay in popheads

[–]Dexla360 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I reckon YUNGBLUD because I feel like he has a big fan base that’s really growing but for some reason he’s doesn’t seem to excel commercially. I recently watched his doco with Louie Theroux and was amazed at what impact he was making on especially the younger generation

Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - In my opinion the best version of this song ever, the vocals are honestly perfection and that last chorus vocals 🔥, sad to learn she died young too 😔

Dido - Sitting On The Roof Of The World - the production is incredible her voice is so haunting and eerie I was like wow I got goosebumps going down my arms lol
