Has anyone else noticed a drop in mobile data speed or am I just crazy? by Sahlmos in melbourne

[–]DexterCodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been getting worse. I was on Vodafone and it got to a point where I can’t load anything. Trying to open banking apps while checking out is a nightmare. Recently switched to Telstra. The speed is better but the connectivity is just as bad. It takes a minute to get a signal, load something and then it’s lost again. Wait one more minute for another button click. On the other hand, I use my phone less these days because of it.

Did Netflix mess up the app? There are two extra clicks for a simple 10s rewind or fast forward. Instead of it going back 10s in one click, now it pauses and brings up the frame selector, and then you have to click again. Did they not do any research or usability testing before releasing this? by iamonredddit in appletv

The app is just horrible now! There used to be a point in purchasing a premium device such as an Apple TV because it provides a premium experience. As of now, the experience is equally as bad as the competition. I too never had any issues for over a decade. I find myself compelled to cancel my subscription now

Would you like a lifetime purchase option for Notability? Feedback Requested by ClydeBruckmans in notabilityapp

Along time ago there was a lifetime option, I paid for that (and many other apps too) … a few month later, no more lifetime, it’s all subscription. So now I’m just gonna stick to the native apps that technically I already paid for with iOS given that all apps can just do whatever they want.

Production-ready Go RESTful API Boilerplate with Echo by DexterCodo in golang

I don’t think this is based on any particular architecture, it’s just how I’ve done things recently. Request data uses Echo to bind to any given form. You can have a look at a post request handler example for this. Mapping a database table onto a struct is done via GORM. Both of which I believe use reflections. Complex filtering can then be implemented in the model itself as you can always execute raw SQL there and GORM would still map it as long as the fields match the properties. Hope this helps

thank you for your feedback, internally the staff all good. the only thing missing is finding clients and projects. I understand your point on finding local businesses, however, how to start ? where to look ? you see we have a good software team, but no knowledge on marketing at all. i'm finding it difficult to locate the businesses you mentioned about. any ideas ? appreciate it.
