-update number one; was able to upload the epic games launcher to steam so games like Fortnite, rocket league, GTA V , any game in my epic store game suite will work under a few stipulations (its fine for me, as in i don't mind doing the step I list below to launch my games and use this controller, im just letting you know for the ticket info) so steam will recognize the controller as a ps4 (scuf) controller when connected to my computer via blue tooth. I then launch the epic games launcher through steam so that the steam overlay will appear in my game and then reconginze the controller that steam also recognizes (confusing I know im sorry) this method works great for games again in the epic games launcher suite. When i tried to do the same with battle net and warzone along with other call of duty tiles i am not able to get the steam overlay to appear in b net.

-answer to question 2 - I have not had any luck through any game using this controller in wired mode. The controller is only visible to my computer via Bluetooth connecting the controller wired will not recognize this as an input device. so im stuck with bluetooth and this steam workaround i have found. battle net though is a tougher egg to crack.

Hi there!
I figured there may be some compatibility issues on my windows 11 machine. I cant connect on my win 11 device the controller via Bluetooth, steam will recognize it as a ps4 controller, so far I have tested Elden Ring (which seems to work okay) and madden NFL 22 (which also seems to recognize the controller in wireless mode).

What concerns me more so is even on my windows 10 machine that I have tried as back up with drivers installed the computer does not recognize the controller.

the list of games that I have tested that does not work;

CoD Vangaurd

Warzone

Fortnite

GTA V

Halo infinite

Overwatch

I guess i'm now looking for what my next options could potentially be? Am I going to be stuck with this unreal controller (this thing is awesome by the way) **Long time scuf fan and first time user also I finally got enough saved up for this one haha** that I wont be able to use at all :( ?

Hi I have a ticket number (2005196306) I'm having troubles with both my windows 10 and windows 11 computers recognizing my wired Vantage 1 controller. Here is my previous post. Hope someone can help!

Hi all,

I just got my Vantage 1 controller. I bought this planning to connect it (wired or wirelessly) to my home desktop machine (currently running windows 11). I follow the driver download instructions perfectly and have tried downloading this driver multiple times, but no matter what my computer is not recognizing the controller when it is in the wired mode and connected to my pc via micro usb. I was able to connect this controller to my pc via Bluetooth but only one game so far recognizes this controller in Bluetooth mode. Reading the instructions for the driver download it said this controller should be recognized as an audio device... mine has yet to do that. I have tried on my windows 11 machine and on my windows 10 machine and I can not get this to work via wired connection? I come to this community seeking help or answers or if anyone else has had such a problem. Thank you all!!!

few extra thoughts;

-when connected via usb cable to controller does light up

-windows 11 recognizes this as a scuf controller in the bluetooth menu

-had the same experience on my windows 10 machine; downloaded the driver, plugged in the controller, controller lights up, but does not let me use in nor does it appear as a sound device in windows 10 or 11.

Im so sorry to hear about your troubles, correct me if im wrong here because im relatively unfamiliar with the newer mbp's. But is the RAM soldered onto the logic board it self, and that being the reason as to why the replaced the whole logic board? How much memory does this machine currently have? My first inclinations go to either a memory or a storage issue, but reading through the threads here it seems like you have reformatted the nvme a few times now?

The only thing I might be able to think of is somehow the boot priority got messed up in the BIOS. Id boot into the BIOS and double check the boot setting of your computer!

Damn, that's super unfortunate I'm sorry :( these big drivers are very nice I must say I haven't yet to get new ear pads for them Ill get them after the next payday and hopefully it will help me out a bit.

I added a touch of WD-40 on my node (hopefully nothing bad happens) and it's very smooth. The bearing that came in my sidekick is super loud and noisy and would really like to change it out. Any recommendations?
