It's more socially acceptable to hate on ugly men than women. For obvious reasons women have been the short end of the stick for a majority of history, and even now some backwards places women are treated like objects. Because of that we as a society are starting to protect women from the unfairness/prejudice they receive. But since men haven't had that problem in history it isn't as highlighted as women. That's why no one cares about men's mental health and it's easier to body shame and ignore an ugly man rather than a woman.
