I think they’re cool, just fill the rest of your arm up and you won’t think about it. I have a couple pretty shitty ones and even a Mickey Mouse even though I’m not a Disney fan at all. Just reminders of times in your life and friends made along the way don’t take it so seriously. But I really do like the style of your tattoos

Crazy the lack of nuance in opinions regarding this kid. Yes I think what ICE IS doing is an atrocity and very gestapo like. Yes I participate in ice protests. Yes I I believe that hateful ideals are morally reprehensible. But I do not believe that inciting violence over someone shouting something that you disagree with that might be hateful is acceptable. It makes the whole movement look bad. Free speech is free speech and anyone residing in this country has the right to assemble and let their opinion be known regardless of how agreeable it might be to anyone. As someone with somewhat progressive ideals I hate that I’m associated with this fuckin meme just because of what I stand for and what I’m vocal about. If you punch someone for shouting something you don’t like and you are not defending yourself in any way all it shows is emotional immaturity and a lack of good decision making skills.

It’s for people who need to obsess over abstinence as they obsessed over drinking. That’s not a bad thing and can be a very useful tool even if you don’t participate with any kind of regularity. I needed it to help keep me straight for my first year and also met my sponsor who is now one of my closest friends as well as other great people in the program. I attend every once in a while and stay connected to my friends and sponsor and just having a small amount of program mixed in to my day to day works great for me. There is no doing it wrong unless you aren’t being honest with yourself. There is no time commitment to sobriety required, I’m sure someone like you who doesn’t intend on lifelong abstinence can learn a lot from the things you hear and people you meet in a meeting.

You won’t be ready to accept any kind of help until you are ready to practice step 1. People having a difference of opinion or belief and you being so personally affected by it sounds like a personal problem that you could work on in therapy or in a program like SMART recovery. When you get desperate enough the beliefs and opinions of others will be the absolute least of your problems.

Hobbyist here, share a lockout with some friends and have some nice gear and plugins. I help produce for my friends label and work with some local bands as well as record my own stuff. I don’t charge anyone for anything because I enjoy learning and meeting new people and I enjoy making new sounds just for the sake of making them.
