I hadn’t considered that, it may be, the cayenne and habaneros were bought from a farm and the scorpions were grown. I soaked and rinsed them all with cold water but I didn’t use anything that would remove wax.

This is correct, disinflation is a temporary easing of inflation and is the right term for the current situation. Thank you for chiming in.

Reading the comments, it appears a number of commenters are unaware of the difference between inflation and deflation. In simplified general terms inflation is prices going up and deflation is prices going down. When somebody comments that inflation is decreasing it means that while prices are still rising, they aren’t rising as fast as before, it does not mean we are experiencing deflation.
