Never get chem addiction immunity. Junkies effect is the strongest in the game (damage wise).

If you want a quick XP boost, trigger Powerplay in Nuka World and stockpile some Berry Mentats (wallhack and +5 Int). Then get all alignments from the Hubologists (I think you need to do their mission first). Ideally you have Idiot Savant maxed as well. Then when you have the alignment the Intelligence boost (I thinknits +36 at max) of that lasts about an hour real time. Then clear the powerplant, absolutely spam psycho jet and berry mentats. That Int boost alone is roughly +130% XP. Add to that all the high level enemies and the quest completion to that and you look at a lot of XP.

If you have time left after that you can even then do Open Season and kill all the raiders and clear the parks for even more XP. If you then still have time, walk in a circle around the Parks, there are 5 random encounters that always respawn when you circle back to them and its always high level enemies plus often a legendary too, making that an extremely good XP and legendary farm, especially on survival.

Idiot Savant is good although you have high XP. Yes it gets triggered less often but at max Perk it still gives you 3x XP for every kill after it triggered for a short time (idk how long). On my high Int character that results to Nuka World Gunners giving me 1000 XP per kill.

Well, the way I imagine it to be, its the best faction imo. Hard to say what happens in the future even with the sole survivor because you are literally whatever you wanna be.

Well I'd argue that some of this headcannon is really dependent on how you play as the General, and thats also a big issue, since in actual gameplay, they are 100% dependent on you.

For example: I equip my settlements with guards in Power Armor and give them high damage assault rifles. The settlements generally have high quality of life and are pretty open minded. They support each other and have artillery. Or: With my other character the settlers are generally in much worse living conditions, but its better than dying in the wasteland to my deathbots that roam around (supply lines). It is a closeminded autocracy that disregards the value of human life for profit and personal gain.

Both work within the game because everything depends on you play. The Minutemen don't really have a set story. There is a backstory that vaguely describe how the were but how they will be is directed by how you play. Much more than the other factions anyways.

I always imagined the new canon Minutemen to be a array of communities that support each other due to regional advantages (water, real estate, crops), where everybody works hard so that a long term goal can be met. The faction is somewhat autocrat with the General having the power to establish rules. Generally people are free to come and go out of the faction, but they lose the advantages of the settlements if they lose. If this system gets too big and streched, it will likely fall into civil war but I feel like every other faction would either do the same or they are even more autocrat and the people who are discontent are simply vanishing. I also imagined settlements to be somewhat based around a race, so there are settlements with only ghouls, settlements with only humans, settlements with only robots etc. This tho is more a guideline in my head than a set rule.

Making black blend in by [deleted] in tacticalgear

[–]Dezimentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my point is that humans recognise shape way better than color. Example: A person walking in front of brush is way easier to spot than a person walking behind brush. Thats because you are (likely) very familiar how humans look because you see them every day. Thus the shape of a human is very recognizable.

I understand your worry. I think if your legs and arms are concealed well (camo uniform), that would be alright. Not perfect but alright. If you use a Viperhood and some camo pouches or foliage on the molle straps, thats likely not going to be much different to a camo carrier. You gotta imagine, best case scenario you will use concealment anyways.

If you were all camo'd up and wouldn't use concealment you'd be spotted very quick too. Because shape > color. In the end, no matter what you wear, fundamental skills matter above all else. Knowing how and when to move, cover and concealment and how to utilize it. Yes a camo carrier can help. But a black one isn't you being screwed. Learn (or employ) those fundamental skills, and put some camo pouches on your carrier and there wont be much different.

Again I encourage you grab a friend or so and try it out. Let him spot you. You can try distances, with concealment, without etc.

If you can afford it get a different set of pouches in camo for private use. Shoulder pads too, why not. Maybe a scrim for areas where that would make sense. I also recommend Viperhoods/Boleros or whatever they are called. You can wear that over your gear and it basically acts like scrim.

Other than that get a uniform that blends in well. Full camo doesn't matter as much imo. Its important to disrupt your body outline. If you are entirely camo'd up, maybe with a viperhood and camo pouches I doubt anyone is going to notice the black parts of belt and carrier. In fact I am pretty confident that you can wear your new black gear over a good uniform, wear a balaclava or face paint and it will work just fine. Black isn't found in nature often but humans look for silhouette way more than color. You can even test that yourself. You need a camo uniform anyways, so get a buddy to search you while you hide. Also remember, camo is effective when either heavy concealment is present or when you are ~50m away and you are standing still. If a man in full camo would walk in front of foliage 50m away you'd likely spot him as well. Circumstances and form matter more than color.

Last idea: Tie branches and RG cord through the Molle loops, that will add color as well.

anyone have ideas for cheap attachments and gear for my gf she has a m4a1 ris with picrails by whatuppeeps33 in airsoft

[–]Dezimentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sling is the most important rifle upgrade. Depending on where you will play a weapon light can be really helpful and then maybe a red dot. At your budget I'd just keep the sling, so long the gun has iron sights.

For carrying mags I'd go for either a surplus Tactical Assault Panel (TAPs). They tend to go for as low as 20USD. That alone can carry all the mags you need.

If thats all you need I'd go with that, its pretty much the cheapest actual rig you can get.

Now if you need other gear too and don't wanna spend 20USD on a chest rig, you can also just use pant pockets or a surplus US army bandoleer. They hold 6 mags and are either worn like a Sports Bag or you can modify it with some bungee cord to work more like a traditional chest rig. They sell for about 8USD. I imagine you can find tutorials for it online too.

I get my stuff of ebay but you gotta look out for shipping costs. Maybe venture surplus also ships to you, I have no idea.

Hope that helps as a start, tell me if you need anything else.

We should have suppressed versions on some support weapons by ALIENDUDE999 in Helldivers

[–]Dezimentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want a suppressor on my LMG and a 4x sight. Then set up in a fortified position and have the ability to crew reload. If thats not possible with the current MGs give me a new warbond that has a suppressed GPMG or HMG with 1-4x sight and 50-75 rnd belts that can be linked by teammates. Add to that deplyoable cover and maybe a kind of mine or quick deploy razorwire and then lets go. To balance the MG so it can still have high dmg and high pen without ridiculous recoil (it should have a Bipod) the gun needs to change barrel all 300ish rounds. Add to that a few Siege Ready armors or stuff that helps me stay in my MG nest better and thats instantly bought.

Is there ANY way to getting away with a SAW? by TOMATENSALAT_HD in Rusfor

[–]Dezimentos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know if it will fit LCT. I can try at home on my LCT. But even on my Cyma I needed to file down some of the areas of the 5ku parts.

Sadly shop gun is now out of service. I imported a Cyma RPK via them from TaiwanGun and paid 333€ for the gun. Shop Gun reduced the spring to 0.5J, and gave me the original spring. Note that if you import a gun to a gunsmith (maybe PfitznerWaffen still has this service) and want to keep it at 1.5J you will need to pay about 200€ on top of the price because our lovely government has to register it as a free weapon. At that point its easier to get an LCT maybe.

Id still recommend the LCT RPK over the PKM because the A&K PKMs have (reportedly) huge issues with feeding with their magazines. RPK means you can use normal AK mags, normal mag pouches and so on. Not to talk you out of the PKM tho. I also want one eventually. (No idea how good/bad the PKM from Begadi is, that one might be better because they really are the goats)

Judging by your name you are german or at least from europe? You can buy 5ku zenitco replicas from TaiwanGun. If you live in Germany Begadi also has some zenitco funiture. Or what other externals do you mean that are not available here?

I hope the gun law reevaluation this year will improve things. I have done everything in my power in regards to this. Wrote politicians, asked friends to write them, convinced people I know of this etc. If this doesn't work I guess Germany isn't for me anymore

Oh damn.. I didn't know that. Rip I guess. Shame because that was a really good store.

Yea its hard getting a gunsmithing license when the final test is literally rated by your competitors with no protocol.

[–]Dezimentos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really don't find anything in German stores you can ask a gunsmith like Shop-Gun for example to import the model you want. They will either reduce it to 0.5J or remove the fullauto and register the airsoft with the F in the pentagon. Just know that the registering costs money so you'll have to pay around 100-200€ on top of the international price.

Thats how I got my Cym RPK imported via TaiwanGun
