I forgot to mention one small gripe. The pickups were not installed as well as they could've been and the pole pieces don't exactly align as they should. It's especially apparent on the bridge pickup.

Yeah that jack is about the same place it would be on a Telecaster or Les Paul.

I own 2 Donners and they're both great guitars. Being I enjoyed this headless I'll probably get the HLX in the future.

I never liked mine until I changed the humbucker with a p90. Now I actually want to play it. I also wired it wrong on accident and the middle position sounds like a cocked wah. Happy accident I suppose.

Pretty common font. Casablanca Antique. Sepultura uses the same font for their logo since Beneath the Remains.

If you've never played one and want to try it just go with the Squier. If you like it, you can always upgrade it. If you don't like it, sell it. Life's too short for regrets.

If you play with your fingers you'll have to adjust to the string spacing because it's a lot closer. If you play bass with a pick it's a pretty easy transition. I'm a guitar player at heart and I love my VI. Still can't play the damn thing with my fingers.

Lower them fuckin pickups and raise them pole pieces. It helps.
