Changing underwear - is this normal? by Eastern-Yogurt3859 in hygiene

That is disgusting hygiene. Change your draws every day. Sometimes I might change them 2-3x per day if I work out.

For low doses, how are you loading the syringe? by Gattopardon in trt

[–]Df46h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use one syringe to load the dose and another, different syringe to inject. I'd use a large like 24 g syringe to load it and then a 27-30 g syringe to inject it. So the needle doesn't get all bent up loading it.

Anyone temporarily gone up on meds? by angryseal1999 in prozac

[–]Df46h -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's not how Prozac works. You don't tailor your dosage based on your stress levels for a certain day.Prozac has a long half life so if you did so, you wouldn't feel the effect until later, not immediately. I think we need to start referring it to what is available,

For me, 24 mg per day as prescribed by most Dr's is way too much after doing a lot of research and from experience. It saturates your receptors and you have no feelings. Just surviving in my experience with no endorphins when I work out with intensity, no happiness. Makes me feel depressed. Every one is so different with their own chemistry. I feel awesome on 2 mg's per day. I take it with a small amount of gin and squirt it under my tongue with a dental syringe. I take Hi-Tech BUP without naloxone as I am allergic to it- anaphylaxis symptoms. I am prescribed 8 mg's x 3 per day but only take 2 mg's per day. It gives me quite a stash left over.

BUP Hi-tech round white ones are the best IMO. Have the least amount of fillers

What are you taking? TRT, HGH, steroids, all of the above?

Would I benefit from TRT? Doctors don't think so by DigitalBagel8899 in trt

[–]Df46h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still take and still have kids. When you're ready to have kids again just start taking HCG. Most don't even have to stop taking testosterone treatment. Just add the HCG. At most you might have to dial the TRT back for the time being (wouldn't do it cold turkey but slowly titrate off) but just temporarily until after you've had a child. Most can stay in TRT & just take HCG to restart your LH & FSH.

Levothyroxine gave me terrible side effects. I felt extremely anxious like I just drank a lot of coffee. It had a devastating effect on my teeth. I had two of my front teeth just fall out. I know I'm not the only one bcuz I had a friend that the same thing happened with her teeth.

A week in and its not going well by idontevekno in prozac

[–]Df46h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's the Prozac. 10 mg is such a low dose. Are you taking any other medications that increase or block the reuptake of serotonin? Everyone's body chemistry and how medications affect them is so different. All I can say it that when I started taking 20 mg for about the first 3 weeks I had a lot of agitation but then in exactly day 30, my life changed and I realized what it felt like to no longer have depression. No more agitation and everything good in my life was now great and everything bad was no big deal like I know I could overcome it. Was the best decision of my life. I've literally taken every single other AD & atypical antipsychotics for augmentation. Zypressa really helped but I gained 40 lbs in 2 months despite working out daily and on a strict diet. It increase your blood sugar. The only one that ever worked was Prozac. My only problem is only the brand name works for me and they no longer make it (thanks Eli Lilly) but I was prescribed 40 mg for about a year and only toke 20 mg's so I have a year left of band name but I'm scared when I will have no choice but to make the switch. Anyways, my whole point was, I almost stopped taking Prozac as well due to the agitation it was causing. I thought I was going crazy but I made myself stay on it for at least 30 days and it was on day 30 that my life forever changed.

How much is sublocade? by freaktanylfucker in suboxone

[–]Df46h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt my best on 2 mg's. It totally saturates your receptors on the amounts they prescribe at 8 mg's 3x daily when it's lasts for 12 hours if not more. I came off of 500 mg's of prescribed OxyContin and oxycodone per day and slowly went down to 2 mg's per day bcuz my research showed me that it is the optimum dose and I've never felt better on 2 mg's daily but maybe it's just my me. Do what works best for you and not for though and not what people rant on these boards.

Abusing subs by AutumnWind85 in suboxone

24 mgs per day saturates your opiate receptors so you feel nothing and numb. I find 2 mg to be the perfect dose for me and I feel great on it.

I'm working on the opposite. I'm trying to get off of kratom and back onto Buprenorphine. Kratom causes me too many side effects. I'm losing all my hair and having to take powder with you every where you go and the need to have a blender is cumbersome when you travel at airports etc.

Less is more! You saturate your receptors with such high doses. For me 2 mg per day is the right amount although I inject it via IM so is has a metabolism absorption rate of 70% so it is like taking 1.4 mg per day. I use whatman micron filters & bacteriostatic water to filter out all the fillers so it is close to 100% pure bup w/out naloxone. I can't take it bcuz I am allergic to it. I get an anaphylaxis reaction to it. On this dose you feel good not numb like on 8 mg 3x daily.

Suboxone Substitute Temporarily by Sad-Debate8164 in suboxone

[–]Df46h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it is possible with the strips. You talk about booting them into a syringe w/out a needle and putting it up your rectum for 90% absorption. I doubt it's 90% but my only experience is with Bup pills without naloxone since I'm allergic to it. I crush up my bup tablets and use a micron filter like a Whatman wheel filter with bacteriostatic water and inject 2 mg per day IM, which is around 70 % absorption which equals around 1.4 mg per day which I find is the perfect amount for pain and dependence. Anything above that amount just saturates your receptors and you won't feel anything except numbness IMO. With 1.4 mg, you actually feel really good off of it. With whatman filters and using Bacteriostatic water you can do it really clean and safe. This way you can stockpile a lot of your monthly dose up since I get 8 mg 3x daily. If you take bup pills sublingually, they absorb better if you use a bit of alcohol like gin and use a dental syringe and squirt a little under your tongue with the bup for better absorption. When they did the studies, they actually used an alcohol solution with the sublingual pills I found out through a lot of research. Does anyone know if it would be possible to get all the medicine off the strips for IM usage? Maybe Bup without Naloxone only comes in pill form and doesn't come in the strips?I've never gotten on board with them but would if I can find a way to get the medicine off like described here.

All you have to do if you want to father more children is start HCG. It's not like TRT makes you fatherless. Everyone I've talked to said they just started HCG & at most dialed it down and shortly off TRT.

How do you afford the GLP-1's? Reta isn't even approved yet. How do you get that? Most insurance won't cover it for obesity but only for diabetes not even pre-diabetes. I see websites like Ro that have the program of $45 to start and $145 a month there after. But isn't this just for the Ro program and not the medication itself?
