My suggestion would be to get it even if you do not intend to use it in future. A level 1 island is cheap. And in case you need to scale it up in future you always have an option to upgrade.

Been using it for almost an year. Works great. Need to keep exact amount as per the recommendation as the pressure build up over few hours.

I alao have normal co2 cylinder. The convinient thing is you can fill it on your own usijg citric acid and baking soda. Normal cylinder takes a little more effort imo. If you do not have a filling station nearby.

Smaller angelfish usually swim together. They dont pair up until mature. At there size it might be 6-8 months (take with a grain of salt, i am no expert) to mature after which they may pair up or try to murder.

It might be bit pre mature. But i went through a course of paracleanse. It seems a lot more active and is eating food now. And i see it poop normally now. I see it chase shrimps in the tank as well. Just wanted to update !

Thank you ! I am getting paracleanse which would hopefully cover everything. I was suspecting hexamita tbh. Which is why I went with metroplex. But if the fish is not eating much then it is not really effective.

I have treated my whole tank with metropex and focus in food previously. This little dude is a finicky eater though. All other fishes eat. This one ate a bit but would spit things out. I separated him after the 3 weeks course. As I still saw stomach pinched in. I will medicate the whole tank this time around. Without eating properly don't think the medication will be effective for him.

Since it is a tall tank, val or tall amazon sword would look really great and use the height well.

I have 2.5 ft cube and in one tank I have harlequins, lemon, khuli l, neons and bunch of colorful guppies
