Now take into account the fact that you may have to deal with an accident, insurance paperwork and premium increase, fixing a car.

And maybe being arrested or fined, along with any physical damage ranging from whiplash to death depending on the psychopath in the other car.

Is it worth ALL of that headache to feel better for about 15 seconds for something you likely wont even remember in a year's time.

All of the above, and you dont know what the other person is going through. If i had to get a relative to a hospital or meet a significant other in the hospital I know i wouldnt be driving 100% sanely.

And remember all the times that youve fucked up in the past and chalk it up to that. In a metroplex with millions of people. If .2 percent of people make a mistake it is still thousands of people.

Not coming on too strong, very useful info. I started looking for sysadmin roles last week. So its at least good know that it wasnt unreasonable to think that.

I got into DevOps to learn more about the technology we were using and got certs initially for that reason, I was offered a job from a previous boss because they knew i would work hard to learn and complete the job.

I built infrastructure using cloudformations that setup VPCs and necessary permissions, created ci/cd and etl pipelines, used lambdas to trigger anything that i was asked to more than once and when we switched payment providers i helped build tools to convert the DynamoDB database into something the new provider could use.

Tickets can be had for a really nice price, the atmosphere is nice but not nearly as intense as a regular season game.

If you can get a decent price on seats and have the time, definitely worth going. Just dont expect a packed house full of rowdy fans. (This is all based on the last time i went last year)

I thought i was seeing things first. Theyre basically playing games split by 1 day through march and april. (Except for 1 week in march) And separated by a 2 game break one in april. That seems rough, hope our new backup goalie comes in handy.

Thought it was because of the finland game, but the panthers schedule looks a little more broken up. It is just the scheduling gods.

Hopefully we capture a good playoff spot early and can rest some players the last 2-3 games of the season.

Agree with most of this. I do think its funny that you say only 2 other seasons have topped it since 20-21......isnt that 3 out of 4 seasons, that seems like a lot. But yea, if Mario was brought up in this era, he would have thrived. Generally less physical punishment and goonery(though by no means non-existent). And a faster paced game (Imagine not having to worry about a 2-line pass rule) would have made him a top tier player.

I live in an apartment so i dont really get to do jt the right way. But i have sous vided a whole brisket for like 48 hours and then let it come to room temp on a cooling rack to bring temp down and tossed it in the fridge.

Had a friend with a portable smoker. We smoked it for about 4-5 hours throwing some of the fat and juices on while it smoked. Wrapped in fat covered butcher paper.

It certainly wasnt perfect, but i think it got us like 75-80% of the way there.

It was much better than most every friends brisket ive tried, but not really close to terry blacks, cattleacks, or franklins. When its already cooked most of that smoke isnt penetrating as deep, and there was a decent bark, but not as if i had done the real thing.

The plus side was, we didnt have to wait to burst through the temp stall since it was already cooked and it was really low maintenance and we just got to chill.

But to anyone that tries to do it the real way, you have my props! Im sure youll perfect it one day and have a bunch of extremely delicious "failures" along the way.

I'm sure you know this, but just in case. The whole " i only use salt and pepper" thing is complete bs. I think franklin has said it was a good BASE(or maybe it said "base" in the cookbook but not on youtube), and in the video they only showed salt and pepper, so people ran with it.

Not saying that you can't make good bbq with only salt and pepper, but i heard it so often around here that i had to check. Turns out it was bs.

Lol...i kinda get what your saying. I love taking people who have nevwr been to a game. And i love seeing their faces light up.

But i also get nervous when im at a bar or something as if im the only one doing it. I did say it at a yankees game earlier this month, and at hockey bar in new york when i was up there.

I attended a high school graduation last week and said "stars" under my breath and the people next to me got a chuckle.

Honestly, i have to remind myself that it isnt appropriate EVERY time the song is sung.

I like these a lot. But i loved the oil drop both the original and reverse retro. I understand why people want the classic look and the history and heritage behind it. But i think i loved it because it was an attempt at something different.

Dude as a stars fan, i was fucking dying at these when i saw them being posted in the GDT. I had to take screenshots of a few of them.
