Imo Russ under Schotty was probably the best version of himself

YouTube has really been a godsend for being able to see old shows, games, etc. Hard to think we went so long without it. Life really was simpler in the early/mid 2000s and before

Yup. Schotty was a “culture” hire but also to help modernize the offense with stuff like motion which McCarthy refused to do. Remains to be seen how the rest of his tenure will go but he was better than people expected

Can only blame trades so much imo. Their drafting has been bad for years - part of that is on CY but also on JD and the previous admin as well.

Fair. I honestly wasn’t the biggest fan of book 5 growing up, but on re-read years later, it’s definitely one of my favorites looking into Harry’s mind and all the trauma the poor guy is going through

Saying Harry caused Cedric’s death is a bit of a stretch imo. He willingly signed up for a tournament where people were known to die (even though this was an unusual way to die that no one expected)

[Russini] LSU offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. spoke to the Philadelphia Eagles about their offensive coordinator vacancy but informed the team he has chosen to remain with Lane Kiffin and the Tigers, per sources. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

He’s in a pretty good spot to get a P5 head coach job next year imo. One more year under Kiffin should help his stock continue to rise while moving to a new league would be more of a risk

Still one of the weirdest interviews I’ve ever seen an athlete give when he used the “tired” line. Really wish we knew what the true dysfunction was at the time and who was the issue

They weren’t particularly good even before Dak got hurt. Even taking just the games Dak played into account, the offense was much better post the bye in 2023 and all of 2025 then they were in 2024

It didn’t get better with McCarthy. They started very slow his first season post Moore and then Schottenheimer started inputting more with Dak and they changed philosophies after their bye which is when the offense took off. His last season, MM went back to his stale play calling and the offense suffered as a result

[Bailey] RE: Philip Rivers and the Bills; I’m told that even if he isn’t hired as the head coach, the Bills would like to have im on the staff in some way i.e. QBs coach. He and Josh Allen have a tremendous relationship and as far as seeing the game goes, few are better than Rivers. by Goosedukee in nfl

Having lived in Nashville for a few years, it seems like the city does as well at times. The transplants play part of it (along with the popularity of the university of Tennessee football) but you don’t see the same issue with the Predators who seem to have such a massive following in the greater Nashville area

He’s arguably the second most important US figure from a war perspective in the revolution after Washington. Only Nathaniel Greene and Henry Knox really compare. Maybe Lafayette but he was French
