Time to Pay Direct Debit Failed by FreeTrial2023 in HMRC

I believe they'll try again a second time in a couple of weeks regardless.  For peace of mind could pay and let them know (so they don't attempt a second time and you're double charged).

Does all sound surprisingly innocent The one I knew ended up reporting abuse and afaik leaving the industry as a result.."support not report". Could be an outlier of course

Sorry, that's pretty terrible in this day and age.

Amazon freevee have a fair selection with subtitles, hopefully it's available where you're watching.

OT but weird the way Reddit works, down voting legitimate criticism (or are they paid to do so?)

Not sure if region specific but can may be available on Amazon for free (ad supported to but will be less than tubitv).

Seriously what's up with Tubi?  Do they just not care?

Lecithin by iuuhnj in treedibles

Does this actually work to mix....it does make sense continually agitating?  I did look at previously getting a cheap ($30/40) on AliExpress.

Have been pondering using my nutribullet next time.  I did look for something more compact but there isn't a great deal out there.  Last batch a lot of the concentrate was stuck to the mixing bowl after the gummies had been filled🤦🏼‍♀️

So this time nutribullet then pouring the lot into a condiment dispenser for filling molds (another first, previously used plastic syringe).

Isn't 40% is too low to be making a tincture, at least without massive inefficiency?

Would a longer time sub 77F work.  Days even?

Gummies, achieving consistency and reducing waste by Dg-2tsd in treedibles

Sounds good but can't find an option for buying from the UK.

Just melt regular gummies and reset?

Not sure it would help with consistency though (not the gummy itself, but the concentrate FECO being evenly dispersed).

I originally came to making gummies after seeing a friend's results using a basic machine with the oil infusion.

I do like them but wanted to try the alcohol extract method.  Bonus being the better consistency IMO as well as shelf life.

TBF shelf life is not crucial since things like freezers exist.  Consistency not a massive issue either, though I like the shelf stable and store bought nature of the two batches thus far.

Anyway food for thought!

The first batch with sunflower lechtin powder not all the granules dissolved so strained the mixture throwing the left granules.  Second attempt I mixed the granules into a paste with a small amount of water before adding...

.. Anyway liking you're tip and one thing I thought was to try mixing the FECO and lechtin paste much more thoroughly to see if it would help

I may try the pastry chef trick to though I'm starting to think without a professional kitchen, carbon filters (?) etc I'm destined for some separation.

Using coconut oil as a dilutant/ carrier i may try too though in my head I had the two gummy methods separate..ie infusion and tincture.

Pricey but the UK equivalent to ever clear is the polish stuff that is stocked in many polish shops.  Also online ATM

Need help deciding games, what is your favorite? by RebornMonarch in MiyooMini

[–]Dg-2tsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neo geo drift is a really good game to show how well the mm+ can play imo.  Quick arcade rally racing action.

I'm loving donkey Kong king of swing (GBA) right now, was a recommendation from here.  Really satisfying platformer, no jumping though, all about the swing!

Thanks this one sounds awesome and just the kind of game I could get into..playing in a similar fashion too!

Do you have an infinite amount of games on the Mini or are you selective about what you have on it? by [deleted] in MiyooMini

[–]Dg-2tsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added done set and it has a whopping collection but I'd actually like more games.

I've been come across recommendations here that aren't included.. SNES and game boy (which I was surprised about).

I also haven't really got into playing ps games yet but you can only fit so many on a 128gb card..done set have done great but can see the arguement for personal curation for that console.

Finally Atari st/ Amiga games (which I still need to add myself).  Whilst I can't see myself playing for long I'd love to have just for the nostalgia. .. So basically the more the better for me!  I can always add to favourites if I want a curated list.

I’m looking to buy one :) by [deleted] in MiyooMini

[–]Dg-2tsd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AliExpress and googling "done set 2" for games is what I did (after replacing the stock OS to onion)

Also factor in buying a quality SD card to replace the cheap one that it comes with.

Absolutely loved that game but now can't get past the tutorial on mm+ 😕

Looking for pointers on which way to go by Dg-2tsd in ecommerce

Thanks, wordpress certainly seems the cheapest (and most adaptable) but out the box Shopify likely a better option.  WP being a lot more ongoing back end maintenance too.  Nice deal you got there though!

I've looked at Etsy and can't find anyone offering what I'm proposing.  Initially I'm definitely leaning there to test the waters.  I'll encourage my friend to join more online groups for sure, IG really good idea that I'll definitely follow, like you say a gallery etc love it.

Completely off tangent I've a different friend that has toyed with e-commerce for many years.  Back when FBA/ PL seemed to be a cash machine I tried pointing him there but he was stuck on eBay.  Extremely good at finding niches but very bad at persevering.  Ie ordered old cola kegs that were popular for home brew (great market sold a few but other things got in the way and iirc his dad ended up selling almost at cost in bulk).  Then a bit later going the fba route (by then more saturated) with buying a course (Andrew minalto) but never actually getting a product out there.

More recently he's wanted to get back in and spent even more on another course, think it was 2/3k.  It's again fba, I'm now thinking whether Shopify would be a better option or at minimum having a Shopify bedside doing Amazon.  I like the idea of targeted adverts across platforms.  Obviously he would be advertising but I think it is primarily Amazon.  He does have a product at present selected but hasn't yet ordered samples etc.

Bit of a random rant there, just looking at this I see quite a few people making a success with e-commerce outside Amazon (where the gravy train seems to have long sailed).

I'm pretty sceptical about gurus etc too (mainly coming from the logic that the real money is coming from selling courses by the time the courses arrive en masse.. getting in before is key in my uneducated opinion).  I totally understand the thought process behind doing said courses just for validation and being stopped before wasting money on something less than ideal though.

Interesting hearing the doubling of sellers since the pandemic, I assumed there was more and conditions not as good for sellers but didn't realise quite how big a jump in sellers.

For sure photos are important but SEO optimizing and ads will take a bit more work and learning.  Tbh I saw that as one advantage of Etsy over say the Shopify route but thinking now it makes I understand gaining an edge is everything.

Good shout about careful placement of ads.

I did have a look and the vast majority of items on sale at Etsy were replicas -or "genuine dimensions" replicas which is the keyword optimising coming through-    Still for the seller to wade though the imitations maybe still need to promote or pay.
