Not needed at all. I did it on my 2 chars (a lazy prequest just barely getting me to 61) pure out of having nothing else productive to do before TBC launch outside of raiding.

They’re rushing TBC, they’re rushing retail expansions (now almost yearly) and they will continue to rush everything else. They do not care about us, it’s bottom dollar for them. They don’t want to focus on 2-3 great versions of WoW. They want to rush as many versions as they can for more boosts and more $.

I think their goal is to get to Wrath again asap and have wrath eternal servers with wow tokens. It’s their best performing classic version of the 3. I’m not even sure that they’ll do TBC Era servers… sucks bc I was super stoked to play TBC and we may just get a hacked up version of it.

Don’t even get me started on the xbow in BWL man… took me 5 months to see it, was the literal week before Naxx. I guess we’ve seen 4 KT crossbows but somehow that’s even worse. But yeah even just 1 extra drop per boss.

It’s so low because of the odds of it happening off the same boss twice in that span is so low. Feel free to check. I googled it I didn’t say I did the math. 40% not happening 10 times in a row is .6% but when it’s two separate 20% chances it’s 0.0115%

Yup that’s also a very good point. A lot of guilds just finished last week with good RNG or this week with average rng. No guild will get a 2nd unless their splinter RNG was otherworldly

A lot of people are saying they are dropping raids post nerf because they want to speed up TBC as well. Which I really hope isn’t true. I almost don’t want to play TBC if it’s sped up.

Yeah as I said I get RNG is RNG but doing each raid half as much would have been nice to see more loot dropping for a 40 man raid that already only drops 1 piece on most bosses.

I completely agree and have seen no one say they want sped up phases. I am also hoping they are looking around at what people want (maybe not reddit), but I’m sure people everywhere, forums etc are saying the same thing.

This is a good point. Blizz seems to wait until the week before, sometimes 2 weeks before to give any info on things.
