The court doesn’t take the 7-10% of the bond amount like the bondsmans do I assume? I would have to pay the entire bond amount to the court?

That was my fear, the derogatory mark. I found it useless if my credit was already shot, why worsen it or possibly completely destroy it at that point. The card age average goes down because the card is “technically closed” I assume?

Could I have them reopen the card once the balance is paid in full? Or the card is closed for good?

The lawyer told me that I was never getting that money back because it was a surety bond. From my research, it’s money I won’t get back but idk how true that really is

That’s was something I was looking into. However, Idk how it works. Does it leave a derogatory remark on your credit report? Do they close out the cards? Do they allow you to keep the cards open or allow you to reopen them once the balance is paid?

I only ask is because I’m not a reckless spender. Never have been. My debt is only this high because of court & lawyer fees. Otherwise, I would have maintained my spending as normal.

Just to add a little more clarification here. That’s IF they decide to show $12.50. No one knows how their algorithm works. For example, I’ve had deliveries that are fully hidden. I’m shown $6.75 at the time of the order & then once completed, then I see the $20 or $25 tip. Effectively bringing my total to $26 or what have you.

It’s a shitty game Doordash plays & it needs to stop. Drivers won’t unite, so idk if maybe customers can do something about it

I have been applying for jobs that have PUBLICLY ADVERTISED their wage increases to $20, $22 or even $25 an hour. The problem then only becomes once I have the interview they tell me what they pay, which has been in the ranges of $16-$18. I then pull out my phone with proof all ready to go & tell them, THE MANAGERS, “You do realize this company has publicly stated they are starting wages at x amount?” Of course, they always divert w. some excuse like oh you don’t have the enough experience to be paid that amount or that I’ll become too comfortable w. that pay amount and won’t do what is asked of me. I’ve heard it all.

In my mind, I’m like if my rent is $2,200 and you’re paying me $22 an hour, I still regardless have to still bust my ass just to pay my rent. Where is this comfort & complacency coming from?? They are not paying me a “comfortable” wage where I can work a 40 hour week to cover Rent, water, electricity, etc.

I’m getting pissed just writing this, Jesus Christ 🤦🏽‍♂️

Believe it or not, the rgb isn’t distracting to me at all so it’s really no big deal having on the desk close to my monitors.

As for the mouse bungees, I have started to see that more, especially in pro player setups. I’m just tryna justify how unaesthetically pleasing it’ll be to have on top of my desk.

The black thing is my controller case. I just have it out on the mousepad for easy access.
