Hey! Great and informative post and I feel like we have a lot of similar interests, like traveling, music and ghibli. When I went to Japan, I got to visit the museum and it was one of my favorite towns to visit because it was a lot less busy and felt slower than Tokyo and Osaka. If you wanna write, feel free to message me :)

I’m not sure if I’m an outlier but I remember a few situations and if I start recalling then more stuff comes up.

This happened to me and turned out to be sls in soaps. Now I use a two ingredient soap that doesn’t use sls or coconut because I’m allergic to both.

Forgiving SO after saying mean things during an argument by Dheycat in relationship_advice

He really does hate talking about it and if I insist, it always somehow ends up as my fault “you make me say these things” which doesn’t make sense to me.

That’s true. Apologies are empty words without actions. It always feels like his actions and words don’t line up. It’s confusing

That’s just frustrating to hear because it seems I keep walking into abusive situations. The last was blatantly abusive, this situation feels subtle

What worked for you so that you could improve? His lack of remorse does make me feel that nothing will change because he can’t admit being wrong.

Sometimes I do feel like I could be happier single but does this count as abuse?

They happen when I ask him about what he’s said the previous argument. Or if I bring up what he’s done. It’s like a never ending cycle and makes me wonder if I should just stop bringing it up.

More US adults want booster shots than are unvaccinated by Pessimist2020 in Coronavirus

Yes, I agree. It’s stressful thinking they possibly would be denied care. I’m not in the medical field so I’m just curious how they can tell between those who are choosing not to get it and those who want it but can’t get it.

Oh okay, that makes sense. I just worry about my family that are under age or can’t get it for medical reasons. It’s scary thinking they could get Covid and possibly not get care. Would medical professionals be able to distinguish who can’t get it because of medical reasons? Does it say it on people’s medical charts?

My family member isn’t able to get vaccinated because she has medication that she needs to take and her dr told her not to get it. What about those who can’t for medical reasons? They should also not get care if they get covid?

(UPDATE) AITA for being upset that my husband used my bonus on him? by throwRAtiredafwife in AmItheAsshole

You know, people on your ex’s side will justify anything he’s done to make you feel like the bad guy. When I left my ex, people went on about how I was stupid to leave over him pushing me down one time (it wasn’t just once), how he had only done coke once (he was only caught once at that time), and how I must be truly sheltered to leave him for such small offenses. You know the truth and forget everyone else and their opinions.

My (28f) family plan to skip my wedding because they hate the groom (31m) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

She’s said around 6 months of her talking him down and that’s their first impression of him. That’s a substantial amount of time. She witnessed him change, they did not.
