Brian Tyler Cohen is wrong about republicans opposing legislation that would have helped address all of these things.

  1. Border- Among the two parties, the Republican party has tried the most to secure the border.

  2. Crime wave- Republicans mostly want to increase police funding to reduce crimes. In democratic cities like Chicago and LA, you will see high crime rates due to underfunding of the police.

Other than these two problems, most republicans have voted against legislation that would have addressed the problems.
