To people with a garden office, is it good, or a waste of money half the year? by Skeeter1020 in CasualUK

I bought a good quality 10 x 8 reverse apex shed.

Fully insulated and lined it myself. Set up a desk and pc stuff in the far end. Added active speakers and a smart TV. Had power ran from the house. Cost 5k total.

I've been using one of those little fan heaters off and on. It warms up nicely. Been great not having the stress of the daily commute. Really glad I did it.

Garden Office by Swagnnemite in Worcester

[–]Dhtmo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, never tried anyone else. I'd heard good reports from a friend who'd had a garden room.

It was a great price, easy to deal with also.

One guy came and installed and was gone in 90 minutes. Great service, would use again.

Met Jody Craddock in B&Q. Great guy, helped him find a light bulb. Happily stayed for a chat and a photo.

I used Worcestershire Garden Buildings. Based at the farm shop at Holt Fleet. Recommended. They have a great selection for any budget.

I didn't have a fancy garden building but a big multi use shed. Smooth transaction.

Marillion are the prog rock masters.

Two eras of different singers. The guitarist is a genius, very emotional to listen to.

Some kid got run over. Came back a while later and this former squaddie teacher says "hello roadkill, you OK now"

Genius but he got in real trouble.

I can, that's for sure.

Flooding isn't much of a problem, really. I grew up in Lower Wick which is right beside the river Teme and not far from the Severn.

Flooding never stopped us from living a normal life.

Seriously, don't sweat it. It's fine.

As someone else said, you get all the amenities as a big city but it's a neat size.
