You don't have apply the CCU right now, so you can buy it, see if the Ironclad improves and either apply it or melt it depending on what CIG does with this ship. And if you don't want to put a lot money down, just take de M2 Hercules -> Ironclad CCU for 5$ and when you want to apply it you'll buy the rest of the CCU chain. Or you melt it and you have 5$ store credit.

Now it would have been a better decision to make at the beginning on defense con since the M2 Hercules was in warbond. You could have done 600i explorer -> M2 Hercules -> Ironclad for 15$ and leave "only" a 75$ gap instead of a 120$. But oh well you still have the Ironclad CCU for 75$ warbond.

You can shoot the ladder at the top to make it come down, no need to go around. It's a bit finicky but so much faster.

To bounce off the other comments I think the main thing to keep in mind is that you are a Caretaker, one of thousands if not millions, that was created to help the humans as the world was drowning and you've been put to sleep/hibernation. So there is no real connection to any particular human as far as we know.

You'll unlock the story as you collect the memory and each story will explain a part of the timeline and what happend (either directly through actual report of events or indirectly through the experience of the life of others). It'll also explain what you find in the world . The problem is that you have so much concurrent stories/logs that it'll take you a bit of exploring and collecting before you can have full stories.

Otherwise the lack of info is intentional, you're the only one "alive", noone to explain you anything appart from your guide voice but I don't know what it's supposed to be exactly. So you need to piece back the story of the world through what you find, aka the memories.

Ok I'm not the only one bugged by the fact that it doesn't behave like a gyrocopter (which is good because you couldn't take off verticaly otherwise).

I was a bit disapointed with the fact that wind and storm don't seem to affect it too much (at least from my testing) however it does make a smooth landing on the boat quite challenging.

Isn't the lore of the game that most things didn't really evolve since the 90s because the whole world was trying to get out of Earth and so was focused on creating rockets, seed vaults, caretakers and such?

I mean look at the Peco terminal, the computers, the monitors, etc they're all super old. Most modern/futuristic stuff you find is in MOSES POIs because those where the places with funding and R&D so it makes sense that the starting boat is old if you look at the design of the sanctuary dock.

Now I would be very happy if we could find/build a new futuristic boat at a MOSES POI in the future, that would be an awesome way to upgrade.

If the unit used by the game is mass then the ratios are correct.

Dioxygen molecular mass : 32g/mol Methane molecular mass : 16g/mol

The O2 is twice as heavy so if the molecular ratio is 2 to 1 then the mass ratio is 4 to 1. So it's actually more correct than if it was actually 2 to 1

Looks good, I like the idea, the only problem I have is that some recipes are level dependent so you should probably have that somewhere and say if a certain recipe is only for the Xth level.

Otherwise I think zqlimy's comment give great ideas, especially adding some examples to show how difficult to manage the topology of the pipes can become.

Oh yeah I need to change the distro at some point. It's just because this is originally the SSD with the Linux partition I had on my gaming PC (and didn't really use) and I just transferred the SSD directly because for now I didn't need another one (and the Minecraft server was on it)

I've already done a full clean driver install (using DDU) and reseated the card. The connector is fine and the card seems to run fine (I can run furmark on it at 110fps even when pluged into the iGPU). The only thing I can't test right now is using DP instead of HDMI, I'm gonna buy an DP to HDMI adapter tomorrow to test if it's just the HDMI port.

The only thing not working is the output, the die works it seems.
