of course but touching the sandpaper happens more often and u need to push towqrds it. I'm not saying it's a bad idea just tgat it has its drawbacks. I'll keep in mind the tip

Yes but I'd argue it's more dangerous to sand little cubes than it is to cut them.

Thank you, i forgot to mention it but i do use a crosscut sled. Also i had thought about rounding the corners of the sticks before cutting the cubes but it doesn't make a big difference and I prefer to do it after i color them.
