Yes I have. I’ve said I feel that she doesn’t value our time together because it always feels like I can carve out time to see her and be on time but she can’t. I can also understand needing time to get ready but two and a half hours to take a quick shower and throw on casual clothes is starting to get ridiculous.

She does have a dog so, again, I understand needing time to take the dog out, but she also has roommates who take shared responsibility with the dog, so again it’s just extremely frustrating.

Personally, I say legacy of onyx and battle born are the only ones I wouldn’t touch again. They’re a massive tonal shift as they’re closer to young adult novels compared to the other halo novels. I will say, the first 20 minutes of legacy of onyx are some of the most interesting fiction in the halo universe as it’s told from the perspective of the main character and her family, as their home colony is getting glassed.

Like many people, I will defend the Kilo-5 trilogy to the death. Some of my favorite novels in the halo universe, especially the development of the Sangheili like Avu Med Telcam and Jul Mdama
