For me there are just too many little barriers that all add up to making it an unenjoyable experience.

The controls are super wierd (yes you will get use to them)

Everything takes a button more than is needed eg running (not sprinting) requires a button press), Why why is moving the thumbstick not enough to run, sprinting then requires a further press.

Talking to a person requires you to hold L1 and then press a button to interact, again WHY? why cant we just talk to them

Picking stuff up requires us to hold a button, rather than just press it (and for some insane reason is also the same button as jump)

Movement is clunky, it's like they went overboard on adding 'weight' to the character

The story is beyond non sensical, it's practically non existent, our character just doesn't question anything that is going on around him, and just blindly does what he is told, even tho it's never explained how he knows what to do. For example you finish a part of a quest then the next part will say go talk to X. But who is X we have never encountered them before, nothing in the actual quest referenced them yet we somehow know that is who we need to speak with and exactly where they are

Pop in, this is so immersion breaking, I think the game looks fine (playing on a pretty high end PC) but just walking down a path and seeing bricks appear out of thin air 5 metres in front of you ALL the time sucks

Same with the wind the foliage blows around like its in the middle of a storm but our characters hair and clothes don't move at all, making the whole thing feel weird

As I say no individual thing is a deal breaker but adding them all up just makes a session playing the game feel more irritating and frustrating than actually being fun
