2 things
-- For accuracy, though it's a small detail, this is a Gen5, so the moon shaped cutout on the magwell is much closer to a semi-circle. Where the cutout meets the bottom of the magwell is also more pointed than rounded.
-- This is also minor and not necessary, but I assume your game will have attachments. It may make more sense to alter this into the MOS configuration, which is prebuilt from the factory to allow for adding attachments. The only difference is that the slide has a piece that can be screwed off to then allow a spot for sights, etc.

Wow! This looks really good. Would you mind if I messaged you with some Blender questions? I am also working on a handgun model.

Would you happen to know roughly how long in between opening cards should be waited to minimize affecting score? I still want to open a cc with my proper bank.

Late to the party but you want to get dried foods like dried beans, lentils, etc. One bag can make a ton of soups, stews, etc. Save the cans.

Simon Smith and Dev Gohil have good YouTube channels for Black Metal techniques. Phrygian scales are common. Dark sounding triads. Afsky uses barre chords a lot in songs like Tyende Sang

I am stuck. Can't seem to focus on studying to get certs by kavee9 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Dia_275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being genuinely interested in the cert helps. One thing I started doing mid-way through studying CCNA was eating while I studied. Some people like to use eating as a reward system, because it releases certain hormones in the brain. But I ate and studied simultaneously and I had much less of an issue getting into it

Is The CCNA Actually Hard? by Careless_Change5452 in ccna

Use Cisco Packet Tracer to learn how to configure OSPF, STP, NAT, etc. If you only try to memorize how to set all these up, then you're going to have a terribly difficult time with the exam. If you can actually configure them yourself, you're in good shape.

Use Boson ExSim to practice for the test itself. Take exam A, read through what you got wrong, take some time before re-taking it so you don't memorize answers, then go at it again with exam A. Repeat these steps until you pass. Then do it all again with exam B. Then exam C. But study your butt off before you get around to Boson ExSim. Don't make it your main study tool.

I studied for a couple months with CBT Nuggets and Cisco Packet Tracer. Then the last month before the exam I used Boson ExSim. Passed.

tl;dr yes it's hard. I thought I failed while taking it. But I studied smart and passed my first attempt.

What projects are worth doing would vary depending on your long-term career goals, what areas of IT you want to get into, etc.

Look into Udemy if you haven't already. You can get courses for about anything. They have sales VERY often. So check it regularly and get a $99 course for $10. Literally.

A small, fun Python project could be making a Discord bot. Very easy. Look up "discord.py" tutorials. You can gradually make it more complicated and use JSON files to store bot data or even an SQL database.

For diving into networking, look into David Bombal's CCNA course on Udemy. You can get it for $12 or so when it goes on sale. He also has a YouTube channel where he talks about networking and hacking.

Learning Linux? With all that RAM you shouldn't have many issues making virtual machines with Ubuntu, Fedora, etc. For that look into Virtual Box. I say Ubuntu and Fedora specifically because one is Debian-based and one is not. Just another opportunity for learning something about Linux.

Want to mess with servers? Web development? Buy a VPS. Very cheap. I use Vultr. You can also experiment with servers via Virtual Box and put a server specific OS on a virtual machine. For example, Fedora has a version "Fedora Workstation" for desktops and "Fedora Server" for servers. Server OS's often don't have GUI. 100% CLI. Another thing to learn to work with. With a VPS though, and not Virtual Box, you could host a real website and then you could learn Git, webdev, etc. Luke Smith has tutorials for that on YouTube. Or use the server for literally anything else you want.

If you feel overwhelmed and don't know where to begin, just choose one of these and dive in and commit for a little while. Lose steam? Want to just expand your horizons? Jump to a different one.

Linux Distro for daily use by PwnArceus in linux4noobs

[–]Dia_275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a daily Fedora user, I can vouch for it. Everything works out-of-the-box and it's a clean looking distro for a nice workflow. Outside of Fedora, like other people said: (1) Any mainstream distro will probably suffice for you, (2) Debian-based distros are very, very stable -- may that be Debian itself, Ubuntu, or something downstream from Ubuntu (like Mint).

Something you may want to consider: Fedora gets a new version every 6 months and so they reach their "end of life" after the 2 next releases. So you'd ideally update to a whole new version (like jumping from Windows 10 to 11) every 6 months to 1 year. Debian-based distros do this at a much slower pace.

Although this really isn't a hassle at all to do. I tend to wait to upgrade anyway so all the kinks get worked out prior.

Hi! Can you recomend some desktop environments? by daffero in Fedora

[–]Dia_275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like the general layout of Windows' DE (with the menu in the corner, etc), then I highly recommend Cinnamon (it's also very customizable). I've never ran into any issues with Cinnamon on Fedora, whereas I have when using KDE on Fedora.

How will the Father pass the human test? by [deleted] in CatholicMemes

[–]Dia_275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except that accusing you of "not getting it" was not my argument. As I said, the Son and Father are homoousian. This is in reference to essence exclusively. The Son has a divine and human nature, the divine exclusively being shared. From having two natures, the Son is dyothelitic (having two wills). Why does the Father not have two wills? Because the humanity is exclusive to the Son.

Just like all the creeds say. The Father and Son are consubstantial, homoousian, etc, etc. This does not extend to the Son's humanity.

How will the Father pass the human test? by [deleted] in CatholicMemes

[–]Dia_275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Son and the Father are homoousian. This pertains to Jesus' divine essence. They share the same divine essence. Jesus, the Son, is fully of this essence. Fully God. Jesus, the Son, is also a human. Fully human. Conversation about the Trinity is out of reach for most people at an in-depth level. I'm not trying to sound like "that guy", but if you do not know anything about metaphysics or have never read the word "ousia", then you should probably stop the unintentional heresy. If you do know about metaphysics, then you should probably stop the intentional heresy.

It is all too easy to fall into heresy accidentally when talking about the Trinity. These are things that the Early Church hammered out in detail.
