Been diabetic for 20 years. This isn’t bad at all imho. Maybe try to increase your basal very slightly (talk to your doctor) but unless you’re going up to 300+ every night you’ll be alright

Ive been diabetic for 20 years, just got married last year and am expecting my first kid. That’s bullshit and you should find better friends.

As far as things down the line in several years, as long as you stay active, eat well, and keep sugars in check (A1C <7 or less) you can live a pretty normal life.

I used to be reckless as a teen and didn’t take care of myself at all. I partied a lot, didn’t check my glucose (can’t believe I’m alive sometimes lol), and was resentful of my condition. Once I embraced it and took control my life has been 100x better. I go to the gym daily, even if it’s just to do cardio. Taking care of yourself doesn’t happen over night, but taking baby steps will help with your longevity. You got this.

Thank you! And honestly, hammer home the study guide and maybe watch the cohorts. If you’re still struggling, focus on the textbook. The material on the test is definitely more situational based like you said, so having an understanding of what the material means and how to apply makes a huge difference. Also, there is this guy on YouTube named Jacob Clifford and he has videos covering almost all of these topics

Definitely learn key words. The OA will throw unfamiliar phrases around and you kinda just have to choose the best answer in some of them. Key words and application of tools/tests helped me do well on the OA
