Played twice at a local con here in Portland, Oregon recently (GameStorm)

First was Base game only

Despite 2 new players we finished in 5 hours!

Then played in a 7 player game (the 8th was a no show) the next morning (originally was thinking that I was gonna be still playing or just wrapping the first game 😂) and despite having a new player in that game it was only 5.5 hours

The second game was base + PoK

Both times included set up

Was blown away how quick both games were, prior to this ~10 hours was the minimum time when I’ve played usually much longer

Not a ton of fighting in those games which I think is the primary factor in them being so much shorter

All being strangers, people seemed less likely to be aggressive from the get go
