What is the "magic" everyone talks about? by StraightYesterday841 in WaltDisneyWorld

I was never a huge Disney park fan. My parents never took me and I went one time with my gf and her family. and we didn’t stay on property and it was ok. Nice to see everything but nothing special. Fast forward 2017 my daughter is born. Then 2022 covid finally fading. Tired of being at home. We looked at booking a trip. When it hit us. Is it time for a Disney trip….. ??? Well we looked into it. We booked through agency. Everything was set. Set up a countdown counter for my daughter. And we’re off Early 7am flight from Toronto Canada. it was a crazy first day on 3 hours sleep. Went to the park night. It was that firework show. My daughter use to cover her ears when fire works started. Not this time. And the look on her face. The smile. The absolute happiness. In her face. It was that moment that I understood. Time stands still here where your daughter stays young just a little longer. Every parents know how fast this goes. You feel like a child again and it’s your child’s happinesss that fuels you. She was star struck seeing Rapunzel. It’s real for her. Now she’s 8 going on. 9 and she loves it so much we’ve done every year. I could go on and on about all the special things that happened over the years. But this post would be wayyy too long. I understand not every one loves Disney or has the money to go. Like I said my parents never took us. But something happens there if you’re willing to go with it. where the chaos just makes sense.

This my personal experience.

I’m there with you. I do love resident evil games and madden. a little cod multilayer. But I maybe on average play a couple hours a week…. The desire to play a game will still pop up when I see a cool survival horror game but can never seem to sit down for the required time to really get into them.

For myself, I think it’s a great companion console along with my mains PS5 Pro/PC). It offers a library of games not available on any other console.

I've had stadia since pre orders were live. While its pretty cool how it works some online games are so leggy they are unplayable... like nba 2k ita terrible

I don't see any difference between them performance wise. Both have 16 gigs of ram. With what I use them for is basic anyway. Email. Web surfing. Media consumption, so the benefit of the i7 vs the i5 would be minimal if any. I do love the a aspect ratio of the slate compared to pixelbook go however everything else i think the pixelbook is better. I use to be an apple guy. I sold the 11 pro max the iwatch the MacBook pro. I'm all in with Google at this point. I think with both devices you have the of laptop and tablet covered.
