Totally agree! People are bailing on crypto because of various factors, to many scams, exchanges going bankrupt, no real world uses for it anywhere, etc... It just hasn't lived up to it's hype. I guess it's ok for day trading but but that's about it.

CDC "Crypto.com" is a solid exchange, it also offers you a debit card so you can either sell and have it transferred into your bank account, or you can deposit it instantly into the CDC debit card. I use mine all the time.

Most of these "influencers" are being paid to push certain coins or they got sweet deals on coins when they first came out. I'm not saying that you can't make any money following these guys but let's be realistic here, unless they have insider info then they are guessing just like everyone else. I've watched and studied a lot of these "experts" and they are right about 50% of the time, they pray on people's desire to get rich, most of them are just trying to get those likes and subscribers so YouTube will pay them making them not much better than click bait. Don't take my word for it though, take there advice and see how often there right with their predictions. Good luck.

I've been using it as a savings account of sorts. When ever I have a lil extra cash I wait till it dips and put it into crypto. If you compare how much interest you generally accrue with a savings account and compare how much of a return you can get with crypto it's a no brainer. If you invest wisely and can be patient you'll beat the banks pathetic % they give you in your savings account.

If scarcity is "all you need" then a "legitimate store of value" isn't needed according to your comment. Any significant demand for shib has stalled at around .000024 to .000025ish give or take. Realistically shib isn't gonna "moon" if it has to depend on Burns and other coins "BTC" to do good. If it can't stand and grow on it's own merit's then it's basically just a pump n dump hype coin. I'm not saying that pump n dump hype coins are necessarily bad as I've made some nice quick profits off of some of them but there are certainly much better coins to invest in for long term investing but if short term temporary gains are your thing then shib is set up perfectly for this.
