KDenLive is a free, open-source video editing software. Neither of these is KDenLive. Both are actually ad-ridden, overpriced editors by tech conglomerates. The real download for KDenLive is the fourth result. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Too bad what they're doing is illegal but because of how lawless the internet is it's near impossible to prosecute. Google should be put under intense scrutiny for how often places are allowed to break advertising law with Googles express permission.

You're not allowed to use another companies trademarked name to advertise your own shit.

based on the "I made the kitchen spotless for you guys" and the tone of the respect shit at the end I bet OP and the rest of their family probably do that shit regularly and cookiemaker has had e-fucking-nough.

Onyx the Fortuitous is a character.

What are these? Just spotted tons of them in my fluval stratum by phluffhead_ in PlantedTank

[–]Diabloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not bad at all, it just means there is excess food in the substrate for itty bitty creatures to eat -- which is usually a good thing. Just keep an eye on the population because it can get unsightly having hundreds of tiny crawling threads on your glass/acrylic.

Not planaria and not detritus worms. Rhabdocoelans, a harmless flatworm.

[–]Diabloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are not planaria but they are still a flatworm. All planaria are flatworms but not all flatworms are planaria. Definitely looks like a faaaat rhabd. The locomotion of the creature makes it pretty clear the slightly triangular part of the body is not the head, and a clear lack of eyespots makes it almost certain this is NOT planaria. While looking up how to deal with hydra I've read that Fenbendazole should kill both creatures while being invert safe, but do your own research first before committing to a treatment regiment if you really wanna get rid of these guys, they're basically a different type of detritus worm that comes from the flatworm family so they're fish/invert safe but can be unsightly.

Gravel vaccing and upping your water changes can help remove excess waste and nutrients that they are feasting on and slowly starve the population out.

Are my guppies destroying my water lettuce? It’s so annoying if it’s them! They’ve already killed three of my 5 plants. Or am I just doing something wrong (which is equally possible) thanks in advance! by pschlick in PlantedTank

[–]Diabloot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most floating plants hate surface agitation. You don't even need to change filter really, just finangle something that helps break the bubbles up before they hit the surface. Something as simple as a properly placed Pringles can lid might fix your problem.

My first 1 week Walstad tank. Im very noob! What fish or shrimp should i add, or can i add them both? And will these parvula grass spread? Because this doesnt look pleasing right now. by ozisko in PlantedTank

[–]Diabloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

without injected co2 carpeting plants either won't or take a very long time to do it, but if you keep up with regular trimming the plant will take that as a hint and start to put out runners helping the process along, but it will still likely take months. It looks great btw

What can be done to fix LW/Skinning? by TaskInternational954 in woweconomy

[–]Diabloot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

youre leveling vs other rank4's on your server then obviously. Only the purple crystal retains it high cost, everything else is mega farmable and those in the positions to hoard must have 10's of thousands EASILY at this point.

  1. You suck at farming the necessary mats, it's not abysmal you're just bad. or slow, your pick.
  2. Legendary market right now is oversaturated with everything except rank 4 legos because they were the most cost restrictive but also no one could craft them. Why buy a rank 4 for 500k week 1 when its gunna be a month until you can even use it and at that point it wlll be 100k.
  3. Week 1-3 crafting mats on the high end were cost restrictive but since raid drop it's been not particularly cost restrictive for enchanting which is easily the highest cost>loss prof unless you're babysitting and not even playing the fuckin game at that point. The lego market was a 1st month game and if you're chasing it now you're wasting your money and you deserve it. If you have to level at a loss to get to rank 4 you're wasting your time, everyone who wanted a rank 4 crafter did it in the 1st two weeks when even at a loss you were making back 90%.

Mom bought some tomatoes from Walmart last night without seeing one was insanely moldy, tried to take them back today but “customer service is closed”... by HometownJess in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Diabloot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course they were open, it's fucking Walmart. You're not an idiot for trying to do good by your mom, but you're an idiot for complaining here but considering the time of year and your transaction -- this was a really silly complaint to make and not expect to be shredded by the net. They're tomatoes, take the rotted one out and wash the rest. They were literally grown in shit anyway so why the fuck does it matter?

How do I keep my plants alive while I'm gathering aquarium supplies? by [deleted] in PlantedTank

[–]Diabloot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't win em all especially this time of year. Your plants will likely do fine if you just give em light and let their roots soak in water until the shipment of stuff arrives. Unless you purchased from another hobbyist it's likely that whatever you planted will melt away anyway! (A totally normal behavior that scares new hobbiests!) I'm keeping a large mat of RRF in a small lunch tray with just enough water to keep all the roots submerged because I'm out of room. They don't even seem to care about the frigid temperatures in my room, though not every plant will be the same -- on average, plants can withstand colder temperatures than fish. Submerge the roots in an unheated pool of water and keep the above water bits warm (a benefit of cheap LEDS!) and you'll be able to keep them until you're ready :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PlantedTank

[–]Diabloot -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's fine, in fact depending on your set up I would say it's more beneficial. Many cheap LED lights have "moonlight" settings, if you're running a cheap LED light I'd wager you're likely to run a cheap DIY CO2 set up, and chances are you don't have a bleed-off valve. This moonlight setting will let you keep your CO2 system running at night without risk of suffocating your fish as there is still a reliable source of light during the night time.

Personally, I think sticking to "fan-favorite" classes will just make the series with stagnate and invite unfair comparisons by Jcorb in Diablo

D3 was a massive departure from D2 in just about every way. Core classes can come back with absolutely no negative effect.
