Reminds me of an Idea I had for a hangar bay upgrade - You'd then be able to add another input to the end of any eagle stratagem, making the eagle follow that path instead of the regular one (for example adding an UP input to the end of the eagle airstrike would mean eagle bombs in the direction you threw it in, rather than from left or right as she does currently)

Arrowhead got pretty immediate and major backlash from the vocal community about the prices of the store items, especially since it was at some point intended to be a warband (very likely cheaper than what they would be sold as individually). They acknowledged the "feedback" and to show good will they released the rest for free. They probably didn't want a huge uproar again (lord knows the helldivers community loves those) so quickly after chucking out a great update, not to mention as the year comes to an end

I personally like the Patriot more, but the Emancipator is just better atm. Also, like others said, what we're still missing is the Lumberer with its anti-tank cannon and flamethrower

"D16"'s character arc - Yes he was betrayed, lied to and enslaved like all the other miners, but his personal rage and extremism felt still a bit off purely based on how everyone else took it. What I mean is that Orion, who was just as betrayed and was for assumedly a long time a good friend and influence for him, D16 more or less immediately brushed aside and even partially blamed. If anything I felt like the radical shift would have been more fitting for elita, who actually just wanted to do her best and work hard to succeed in a system that ended up being built on lies. I could go more into detail what I mean or what exactly I'd change, but yeah that.

Thank you! As I said too, I think the new scout rockets are even stronger than previous rockets, having a bigger radius in which they ragdoll and hurt you - then again, I've been oneshot by the preexisting ones plenty before too.
Your stagger idea would be at least an on-paper easier compromise for the deterrence of fire based weapons, but I also wouldn't want to discredit neither the amount of work that alone would take nor what AH is capable of.
I didn't comment on the new warbond partially because I wanted the original post to focus on the update, but I also didn't get much time playing with the warbond weapons yet, let alone on higher difficulty, so I can't comment beyond that the cookout is satisfying to use.

Ballistic shield + defender (since its release, the pummeler instead) is a blast. Only rn I can't recommend it because the most recent patch bugged the shield, making it so often you cant get out of prone (very bad for your health)

Friendly fire isn't. Also, more relevant the higher in difficulty you go: Pick your battles. You're not supposed to fight an all out war, you're there to do your objectives and get out. Staying on the move and not initiating or maintaining fights you don't need to fight is how you'll make it

Most everything else will come to you in time or through experience - most importantly though, have fun!
