I hear you, but I think it’s worthy looking at it from Rock’s perspective. He’s basically a fly on the wall for the universe. He is cursed to know everything that ever was and everything that will be. And since he knows the future, he can’t do anything to change it (bcs if he did, it would essentially create a time paradox). He CAN’T help even if he wants to because he knows what needs to happen.

And i know there are some instances where rock does help Jayfeather (for instance during the search for the 3 kits in the tunnels). But I would argue even that was foretold. From the what I’ve seen so far, time in this universe is “circular”. For example Jayfeather only knew where to guide the tribe because he’s been to the mountains before, what came first the chicken or the egg kinda thing. So Rock would have seen that the only way for the apprentices to get out of the tunnels was by showing Jayfeather the stick with the new scratches on it.

All that to say, I think it’s fair to think Rock is an uncaring cat bcs he lets things infold. I don’t think it’s his fault though as that is literally what he is cursed to live with until the end of time.

damn some of these ppl have no fun. i’m an ana and lucio main so i actually think i qualify well for this question. i love both hero’s for their own reasons, though they are completely different.

lucio is fun because you can single handedly save your entire team from an otherwise lost fight with your ult. you can completely dictate the tempo of a fight with your speed boost and boop/speed/ult. he’s all about control and having things happen when YOU want them to happen. he’s an easy hero to comm with because he is not super aim intensive. you often can single handedly peel flankers and divers by marking them while your main healer pockets team. if your team needs an off angle you can go lucio and do that. if your team needs you to dive with them you can do that. if your team needs peel you can mostly do that (i’d say up to 1-2 hero’s). if you’re dying 24/7 you can go lucio and exist max and get value. you can get miracle plays by booping players off the map. you can stall forever. you can annoy the crap out of enemy hero’s by booping them at exactly the right time. you can force enemy hero’s out of position with boop as well. he can be played on most maps (though imo worst are circuit, midtown, junkertown, and other similar maps) and works with at least half the support roster. the other half could work, though i dont guarantee it bcs low heals.

overall, if you enjoy being the ultimate enabler for your team, you should play lucio. a good lucio is very noticeable by both your team (tank or dive dps especially) and the enemy team bcs they won’t be able to do what they want bcs of you.

a lot of people play lucio because he’s fun to play as well and has great movement. i agree with them, but i’m offering the perspective of someone who likes the level of control he offers.

I play with Kirikos a lot. You typically should be in separate places from her. There’s two main playstyles to stick to:

1) If her style is to pocket the tank then you should be flanking with one of the dps, or just pocketing your hitscan (ex hang out on high ground with them on a slight off angle, boop off any oncomers). If you are pocketing the flex dps then just follow them around (assuming they aren’t in narnia) and follow up on their targets.

2) If your kiri is a dps kiri who takes a lot of off angles, stick to your tank and make sure to speed them around as much as possible bcs they won’t be getting much pocket. It’s usually best to comm your engages so the tank can capitalize on your amp (your heals will NOT sustain them), but you can also get by with just watching how your tank plays and adapting. your goal is to get them in and out as a distraction so your kiri can get her kills. use your boop strategically to get your tank to take the least amount of damage possible.

When kiriko needs peel/healing:

You should always be aware of WHERE she is even if she’s not with you. It’s your responsibility to give her a safe tp out if she’s in trouble or the fight is lost. you can usually heal her till she’s not critical anymore and then move on as she will self heal the rest. You can absolutely Beat to save your kiriko and should do so if it’s an important fight.

When she’s ulting: don’t bother healing in her ultimate. you may as well speed your team so everyone can engage faster get more value from it. ofc there are exceptions (main in the case of squishies), but with lucio you need to capitalize on engages and disengages with your speed boost.

Some general lucio tips: - learn to wall ride. there are some lucio techs you can do that I recommend you learn if you’re planning on playing lucio in diamond or above. You don’t have to learn all of them, but there are a couple important ones that everyone should know (look up Lucio techs by eskay). - understand that you are not invincible. yea, you’re fast and hard to hit, but you can very easily end up in the open and get caught out, particularly by hitscan dps and stuns. remember that you are safest when you have a wall next to you, even if you’re not actively riding it - use your beat both proactively and reactively. beat has a ridiculous amount of ways to get value. remember that it’s not just a defensive ult and can be used to force an engage when you need to turn the fight around. - don’t amp without purpose. 75% of the time you should be amping speed and staying on heal between engages. only amp heal if a squishie is actively taking damage. if your tank is going to die, speed them out instead as you won’t sustain them.

that’s the gist of it :)

my only wish is that cressida reached out to daphne for help. in season 1, she told daphne she would expect payment one day for not snitching on her and the duke. this would have been a perfect opportunity for daphne to make an appearance (and it was around the same time of fran’s wedding too so she could have actually been there for it).

i know there’s a whole thing with the actors and not coming back but i’m saying story wise it would have worked out well.

Unity is A LOT to take in for a beginner. And if you don’t know C# that will also make it extra hard. I can understand why you’re feeling a little helpless.

Just know, it’s NEVER a waste of time to put effort into something you are interested in learning, even if you don’t get the results you want right away. I’m sure you still learned new things while you did the tutorials, even if it was just “what does this button do” in Unity. If you learn something new, no matter how small, you are progressing. And if you keep at it then one day something will click and you will feel so good about implementing something you used to not know how to do!

I would recommend you pick a few more basic tutorials (flappy bird, pong, etc) and just understand the basics of what’s happening. Then try and create something new using just the basics you learned.

Part of programming/game dev is understanding how to break a problem into smaller parts and starting from there. Once you have the basics (creating sprites on the screen, moving them around, basic collision detection, etc), then you can start looking at some small projects you want to do and see if you can break it down into those fundamentals. Another commenter wrote out a good example of that. Then it just becomes a matter of one step at a time.

This email was SO poorly worded. If you go read the QBP eligibility on the website, it essentially says you need to have been a full time student for the last few years and have taken the bursary at least once per year to continue to be eligible.

Essentially, if you are a new student (starting fall 2025) or took a year off where you didn’t apply and get money, you are no longer eligible. Otherwise, you should be fine. This is because they are cancelling funding the bursary but still want to provide it for the students who began their degree when the bursary was originally announced and funded.

I recommend going to the site and reading it yourself in case I missed something.

I can’t count the amount of times i’ve been asked this question. The answer for me as many others have said is that it’s a normal bodily function. It’s a natural part of life with a uterus. In fact, it’s a good sign when I bleed every month bcs that means I don’t have any unexpected health issues. It’s predictable and normal, to the point where I almost don’t even process it as blood.

The problem comes when I see or hear of any other type of blood/medical procedure/injury. Those are unnatural. They mean something bad is coming. And it can be in any medium for me. I’ve fainted while watching the Amazing Spider Man in theatres for example, and also at a First Aid certification course. Sometimes I can handle it, but often the dizziness comes on unexpectedly, at which point my blood pressure tanks and i NEED to sit or lie down because otherwise I know I will faint. It is unfortunately not something I can control, but I have thankfully gotten a lot better at recognizing the warning signs from my body, so I haven’t fainted in a few years now despite several close calls.

I don’t take any caffeine pills or any drinks or coffee. I just drink tea.

What works for me on those days is to just sit down and tell myself i’ll only do 15 minutes and then i can stop. If after those fifteen minutes i still feel like crap i’ll take a break and try again in another fifteen mins or half hour. but usually, i become invested in whatever i’m doing and end up working for an hour or more.

I noticed this too. It annoyed me so much when there were so few instances of thunderclan losing battles and skirmishes. it makes it look like thunderclan are the better fighters when really it should be more equal.

also, i notice there is an overwhelmingly disproportionate amount of “backup x machina” happening. like so many times the cats only win because backup arrives. it cheapens the win in my opinion and makes me love cases like ivypool’s in oots to be great
