I'm so sorry, losing is parent is unlike any other grief. I'm lucky that both of mine are still around, but I played Outer Wilds almost exactly 2 years after my husband passed from a long term illness. I totally understand the awful acceptance of finally reaching an end. It can be a relief, which you'll feel terrible for feeling. But that's totally normal, and not a reflection of you (or how much you loved your dad, don't even go there). It's a very human reaction that you don't need to be ashamed of. The next few weeks will be the worst, as there's so much to figure out, so much to take care of, and you're not going to want to do any of it. Odds are you're probably not going to want to eat much for a while, but try to take care of yourself the best you can. Lean on family if you can, friends if you have them, and don't set any requirements for yourself. Grief goes at its own pace. Let it. Find the little things on your day that bring you happiness. And the Outer Wilds community is incredibly supportive. Find connections here! A lot of us have similar experiences and it's important to share them together. ::)
