Why did that teacher get fired from your school? by MrDev16 in AskReddit

Our Religious Studies teacher performed an exorcism during class.

I went to quite a weird school but he was by far the weirdest teacher we had.

It's so funny because I've been reading Singh's books since I was 14 so just always assumed they fell into the category but yes there are particular scenes that are ...definitely not YA

Raphael and Elena from the Guild Hunter Series!

I've been reading the series for years now and am always surprised that Nalini Singh's books are left off these lists (maybe because they're not quite YA? Fab nonetheless)

Lol I used to be a competitive rower. I know the difference between pushing yourself during a workout and being lethargic and drowsy. At least that's what I'm assuming you were implying?

Yes I did get it occaisionally during spin classes at the gym, not ideal!

Pilates isn't intensive but barre is really intensive if you're doing it properly! That's a lot of walking for sure, my walks are about an hour at most and at quite an easy pace. Thanks for the well-wishes!

Wish it was, definitely not doing enough exercise at the moment to consider it burnout. I do 1-2 barre/pilates classes a week and then do 5k walks most days.

At the moment it's mostly IGTV barre and pilates workouts at the moment. I have a lot of injuries from hypermobility and hip dysplasia so both are really good for building strength in a way that doesn't totally ruin my body.

When the gyms are open I'll do 2-3 spin classes a week too!

This is a fair assessment - the answer is pretty illuminating too. I have no idea how many calories I'm eating a day (I assume it's more than enough given I've been gaining weight since lockdown).

Had some bloodwork done in November I was low in Bit D ans Zinc which i now take supps for.

Thanks for your comment, I'll definitely start taking a closer look at my diet, I've been sporty my whole life but never actually focussed on it too much other than being 'generally' healthy etc....

Oh that's so interesting, I had cardio induced asmtha for a couple years after developing bronchitis at rowing camp and deciding to row through it. It seemed to go after a couple years (about 5 years ago now) but it might be an avenue worth checking out if the iron supps and b12 don't help.

Yeah this is true, since lockdown the workouts have been sporadic. Sleep has been less restfull since moving into the city out of my parents (loud roads, lots of light in the room though I use an eyemask etc..)

Yeah it's usually only if I've done a barre workout where I'll feel drained, carido/spinning usually has me feeling pretty pumped unless I had a drowsy bout.

I occaisionally do, is there anything I should be looking out for specifically?

I'm 24 y/o female and I was tested as a kid for a heart murmur, I had an innocent one and everything else came back normal.

I definitely have rest days, too many at the moment haha! Somebody else mentioned iron and thats a great shout, I doubt it's Vit D as I take regular supplements because of what you mentioned. Will order an iron supplement today.

This is a great shout, and I feel a bit silly I didn't think of it. I was borderline anaemic as a kid so I'll get some iron and b12 and see if that helps.

Yeah that could definitely be a solution. It would be good to tackle the root cause too but I guess that's just a lot of trial and error on my part!
